We had a wonderful few days stay at Sally and Gavin's at The Club House. The accomodation is brilliant, a perfect quiet getaway spot for a break away from things. The Club House is exactly what you see in the photos and had everything we needed, the kitchen is well equipped so we were able to make ourselves some nice meals. The tennis court is great, such a bonus to be able to get out and play on the doorstep. We had some trips around the area so we got to see the beautiful landscape of the High Weald as well as the historic town of Battle which is only 10 minutes away by car. If you are feeling adventurous then there are footpaths and bridleways around the area including through Brightling Park. Sally is the perfect host, everything was prepared for us when we arrived including some lovely touches like home baked brownies and fresh eggs from their chickens, and throughout our stay she was helpful and thoughtful. We would absolutely recommend a stay!

We were very happy with the cottage. It was nicely furnished, spotless and the kitchen had plenty of crockery, glasses and cutlery. Sarah was great and answered questions promptly. We stayed at the cottage (5 adults) as we were going to a wedding nearby. My daughter is 155 cms and slept well in the small bed. The property was mixture Weal really good value for money and I would highly recommend it

Beautiful apartment looking directly at Battle Abby. Everything was there that was needed. Was a cosy place that was beautifully decorated and felt very much at home. The only problem we had was not a result of the host but bad timing, there were roadworks being done at nighttime right in front of the apartment and parking was extremely limited due to this. We had to park on the opposite side of the town and with my wife being disabled made things more difficult. But other than that we were very happy with our stay.
