Roaring Fork Chalet Long Range Views Mt Mitchell
The chalet is a warm and comfy place to relax, cool off, hike/bike a trail or two, enjoy long-range views(elevation is 3,383 feet - Mt Mitchell is 6,683), listen to some good music, sip your favorite drink, and rejuvenate your soul. Roaring Fork Chalet has paved roads that are all well-maintained. The mountain roads are curvy, and the subdivision is steep in parts. No four-wheel drive is needed to get to the chalet except in the winter months. Dog accepted with/ prior approval (fee applies).

Recently remodeled kitchen and baths.Stay in the coziest yet spacious A-frame in the charming village of Little Switzerland (55 min from Asheville) breathtaking views from the hot-tub on deck - 5 minutes from Blue Ridge Parkway hiking and Crabtree Falls! Plenty of space for the families with pingpong table & foosball & bball hoop. We ARE NOT suitable for children <5 due to the spiral staircase/deck. NO pets. Our chalet is a beautiful naturally lit 3 story home with an open floor plan and 2 Master bedrooms. It has a beautiful mountain view that can be enjoyed from the main deck or master suite balcony. We are located in a wonderful spot where the Blue Ridge Parkway, nature trails, city attractions, river swimming, and skiing can be enjoyed within a short time or travel distance, which is great for the mountains. We have Wifi and a smart TV for streaming services. 16 miles from Cataloochee Ski.

The Snookmore ~ Front Porch Views w/ Hot Tub
The Snookmore is perfectly located just 3 miles from the Blue Ridge Parkway and 8 miles from downtown Asheville. Just hop on the Parkway and have the Appalachian wilderness at your beck and call or mosey on down to the hottest town the South has to offer. Its only neighbors are ourselves and our other rental house, the Snookery. Note on Helene: we were very luck in Snookville with a lot of downed trees, but nothing structural. There are still outages, but the generators keep the power on.

There are awesome eateries and breweries only a few miles away and Pisgah National Forest is just around the corner.
