This delightful Grade II listed cottage nestling in the picturesque Peak District benefits from being only a few steps away from the village store, tearoom, 2 cracking pubs & Rafters restaurant ! Cycle on the Monsal Trail or walk in the stunning grounds at Chatsworth House, both are easily accessible and glorious views await. A visit to the nearby Bakewell to sample the infamous Bakewell Pudding, is also a must! Our aim has been to make The Bobbin, an extremely comfortable 'home from home' .

We are surrounded by walking and cycling routes including the Monsal Trail. Climbing and fly fishing activities nearby. The property occupies a peaceful, picturesque, backwater of Ashford-in-the-Water within easy reach of local shops and bars. We often see wildlife around the property including rabbits, pheasants, sheep, horses and sometimes woodpeckers!

Riverview Cottage

Nestled on the river wye in what is widely known as the prettiest village in the Peak district River cottage has it all. One king size bedroom with en suite a double both with amazing views of the river and a single, it’s large family bathroom with jacuzzi style bath is perfect for a relaxing soak after a day in the peaks. Down stairs is a large dining room, lounge with gas fire and fully fitted kitchen but with the Tea room and Bulls head within 1mins walk you may not need it.

Joiners Cottage is full of character and has been lovingly renovated to maintain the character but we have added some 21st century luxury including a log burning stove for those cosy nights in! The village has 2 pubs, and the corner shop at the end of Church Street has been in existence for over 100 years and is an outlet for many local needs.

This lovely cottage dates back to 1570 and is thought to be the oldest in the village. It is Grade 2 listed and has a wealth of beams and character. There is a great log fire in the cosy sitting room for those long winter nights. You can begin many walks into Derbyshire countryside from the door and plenty of pubs are within walking distance. The River Wye runs through the village - perfect for cooling that bottle of wine.
