There aren’t really enough words for how incredible this place is. Lisa has created a space that’s so welcoming, stylish and with everything you could need, in the most utterly stunning spot. I’ll miss my cup of tea by the lake every morning and the view from the front door. The local town is great, highly recommend the Fiddlestone pub. And the Castle Caldwell walk is stunning. Just what we needed for a fantastic week in the Peaks, near to so many lovely walks as well as being warm, very clean and well equipped. Extremely good communication from the host before our arrival - including lots of information about the area. Really appreciated all the touches provided to make our stay a home from home, including fresh ground coffee and shower gel. Thank you so much!

Beautiful location, lovely Lodge, very spacious. Very well equipped

The cottage is lovely with beautiful surroundings. The living room in particular is stunning. We are a family of 5 and had plenty of space. Our eldest (11) loved the loft bedroom. Instructions from Liz were excellent and using what3words we found the cottage with no issues. The area is gorgeous and we saw lots of wildlife on the way which was great. The cottage is about an hour away from the centre of Edinburgh, so it’s ideal if you’re wanting to visit Edinburgh but stay away from the noise of a city. Thank you so much for having us, we had a great time 😀

This is such a beautiful and unique place, both the cottage itself and the stunning surroundings. The cottage had so much character and was extremely well equipped and comfortable. You open the door straight into the remote Donegal countryside with only sheep as your neighbours! It was incredibly peaceful and we wished we could stay here longer. The cottage is a beautiful walk or a 10 min drive from the sea at Port, with a beach and cliff walks. Further afield are plenty of beautiful spots to explore in this beautiful corner of Donegal.

Really loved staying here! The view was amazing. It was quiet and we loved looking out to the water. We played some board games and enjoyed watching everyone on the walking path. Dean left us a nice welcome card with a sweet treat. Along with some local great places to visit for food and activities. Dean was also great to communicate with. The walking path was great to do a nice morning walk. Highly recommend and would come back.

Throughly enjoyed our stay! Accommodation was spotless and very comfortable and added bonus of two parking spaces. Hot tub was amazing. Our dogs really enjoyed themselves as well with the beach just down the road. Would highly recommend a stay here. Thank you for allowing us to stay.

Lovely place to stay for a few days of peace and quiet! Sinead was a great host and always responded to messages quickly and helpfully. Easy to find and was perfectly situated for our planned walk up Mount Errigal, about a 30-40 minute easy drive away.
