Vacation rentals with breakfast in Assoro

I spent a wonderful month in this location - it's clean and comfortable with good wifi for remote working - perfect for what I was after. Maria is a wonderful host who is always responsive and cleaned the place once a week while leaving me nice things for breakfast! She even gave me a lift to and from Catania (c.10km) with my heavy suitcase. Trecastagni is a pleasant town on the slopes of Etna with accessible supermarkets and other essential shops as well as a some nice bars and restaurants and several churches. This location is better for those with private vehicles as the buses to/from Trecastagni are somewhat unreliable and it is a walk of several miles to the nearest train station (Acireale). However for those with vehicles it offers good access to Etna as well as other attractions in the area such as Catania and Acireale.

Wir hatten eine schöne Woche in dem Haus. Wenn der Ätna frei ist, ist der Blick von der Terrasse atemberaubend. Es hat auch Spaß gemacht, die Hühner zu füttern (dafür gab es täglich ein Ei ). Die Katzen leben draußen und kommen nicht ins Haus- das fanden wir sehr angenehm. Das Haus ist auch im frühen Frühjahr gut bewohnbar, da es gut beheizbar ist. Der Kontakt zu Tina und ihrem Mann war super- sehr freundlich und immer eine schnelle Antwort. Wir kommen gerne wieder !

Andrea's place is lovely. After being in Napoli and Palermo for a week, it was a nice change of pace to be in the country. The pictures of the cottage do not do it justice. The cottage is quite a it bigger than the pictures suggest. The bed was comfortable and cozy. Our favourite part of staying at Andrea's was drinking wine and looking at the scenery. My husband and I would definitely recommend staying at this air bnb!

L'appart est spacieux, très propre et bien situé. Massimiliano s'est montré disponible et amical et petit détail sympahique: la table était déjà mise pour notre petit déjeuner, avec des copieuses provisions à disposition. Merci beaucoup!

Host molto reattivo, amichevole e professionale. Appartamento su due piani che si trova all’interno di una struttura formata da 3 soluzioni differenti. Spazio esterno con piscina la vera chicca.

The flexibility for the last minute booking was fantastic, following with Francesco's quick communication and connecting. Francesco works in team with his lovely mom, which assures that the keys are release upon arrival. I travelled solo, short stay, could have stayed longer to discover beauty of surroundings, perhaps hiking, saw horseback riding too... The place is very clean, quiet, just what I needed to realigh. However, if someone may have some issues with legs, hips, that may not be the place of desire as there is almost 40 stairs to the kitchen from the entry. One may treat it as a good excercise program, too. I would definately stay at Francesco's place again and hear his recommendations for Sicily travels.

geweldige locatie om verschillende dingen in de omgeving te bezoek (wel met een auto). Super host, heel vriendelijk. Uiterst proper en mooie kamer, geweldig uitzicht, derde verdieping. Aanrader!

Als ich in der Nacht der Ankuft die steilen Straßen von Geraci Siculo entlang fuhr, ahnte ich nicht, wie schön dieser Aufenthalt werden würde. Eigentlich war ich hauptsächlich in der Gegend, weil ich einen Artikel über eine seltene Tanne im Madonie Naturpark schrieb. Aber die Zeit in Geraci Siculo selbst sollte einzigartig werden. Ich wurde sehr herzlich empfangen. Obwohl ich spät ankam, begrüßten mich Davide und sein Bruder Alessandro persönlich und luden mich direkt zu einem Glas Wein, Käse und Brot mit dem besten Tomatenpesto ein, das ich je gegessen habe (man schmeckt die Sonne - anders kann ich es nicht beschreiben). Davide und sein Bruder sind sehr herzlich und gaben mir einige Empfehlungen für Geraci Siculo und die Umgebung. Die beiden stellen ihren eigenen (sehr leckeren) Wein her und bauen Gemüse und Obst an, das sie offenherzig mit mir teilten. Ich war im besten Sinne überrumpelt von der Gastfreundschaft. Das Airbnb liegt in der selben Straße wie ihr Haus und war sehr schön.

We loved our stay here! The apartment ist super cozy and very clean and we felt very comfortable here. Roberta was amazing. She was very nice and super accommodating with early check in and late check out. She provided us with lots of snacks and drinks and took the time to give us some great restaurant and sightseeing tips. We definitely recommend staying here on your next trip to Catania!

Krásně sicilský vybavený prostor. Teráska u každého pokoje. Velká prostorná vybavená kuchyň taktéž s teráskou. Kamene stěny i podlaha, bez topení dost zima (v březnu). Jedine minus - plíseň na stropě v jedné ze dvou koupelen. Sousedství celkem hlučné. Okolí vlastně celkově příjemné, přímo pod Etnou, tak to je parádička a Giarre je malé městečko ne tolik turistické, takže člověk zažije takový běžný den obyvatele Sicílie.

We were only here for one night but this property would be great for a longer stay with good amenities and a well appointed kitchen. It is an easy walkable distance from the central railway station ( so very quick access to the airport) and the historic centre. All was very clean and tidy.

Wer Catania kennenlernen möchte, ist hier zentral untergebracht. Der Dom ist um die Ecke. Es ist ein sehr schönes und gemütliches Appartment, in dem wir uns sofort wohl gefühlt haben. Die Dachterrasse mit Liegestühlen und Blick auf das Meer, aber auch den Ätna ist einzigartig. Francesca, danke für alles!

Nous avons beaucoup aimé notre séjour très confortable à Acireale. Nos hôtes se sont assurés de notre comfort avec beaucoup de petites attentions. Merci encore.

Wer auf rustikales sizilianisches Flair steht ist hier genau richtig. Wer immer auf die Idee gekommen ist einen Wintergarten mit 270 Grad Rundumblick auf die Dachterrasse zu bauen: genial. Wir haben den Ätna bequem von der Dachterrasse ausbrechen sehen und die Lava beobachtet. Besser als Fernsehen. Wir haben jede Mahlzeit dort eingenommen. Die Klimaanlagen machen bei Bedarf schön kühl oder pumpen warme Luft in die Wohnung. Es gibt einen privaten, abgeschlossenen Parkplatz. Die Küche ist ausreichend ausgestattet. Wir waren mit 2 Kindern dort. Ein Manko gab es: keine Weingläser (oder wir haben sie nicht gefunden). Check In und Check out waren völlig problemlos und individuell. Klare Weiterempfehlung! Danke, dass ihr diese tolle Wohnung mit der Welt teilt.

Sehr gute Kommunikation mit Antonella. Schöner kleiner Balkon mit schönem Blick auf die Basilica di San Giacomo. Die Wohnung ist sehr gut gelegen, man ist in wenigen Minuten zu Fuss im alten Stadtzentrum. Man sollte wissen dass die Wohnung im dritten Stock liegt, es sind also einigen Treppen zu laufen. Sehr nett fanden wir auch das im Preis inbegriffene Frühstück in der Bar gegenüber der Wohnung. Die Schwester von Antonella hat sehr nett Croissants mit diversen vorab wählbaren Füllungen oder Toast mit Marmelade oder Nutella angeboten sowie ein Getränk. Wir sind an Palmsonntag angekommen und haben abends eine beeindruckende Aufführung der Passionsgeschichte miterlebt! In Caltagirone und der Gegend gibt es viel kulturell Spannendes zu entdecken.

Very nice and cozy accomendation styled in classic sicilian furniture. The hosts were also very nice and helpful with a lot of recomendations and info in catania! The location is pefect in a calm neighbourhood and with walking distance to the main center. I really recomend this airbnb!!

Die perfekt Unterkunft für einen Trip auf den Etna. Wir haben mit dem Auto nur ca. 25 min gebraucht. Die Unterkunft war sehr sauber und es war toll, dass es Frühstück inklusive gab, was wir uns zuvor auswählen konnten. Ebenfalls sehr gut, dass es Parkmöglichkeiten gegenüber vom Haus gab. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt!

Everything was perfect! Thanks for the great hospitality @ Marco and Tony. This is a great starting point to explore Mount Etna and its surroundings. We can really recommend this Bed and Breakfast! :-)

Super!! Tolles Apartment mittendrin und trotzdem sehr ruhig.

We will be talking about our stay here for years to come. The hosts were delightful, breakfasts were delicious, and the gardens were peaceful. My husband slept better than he has in ages. We loved the animals and the tranquility of it all. Note that thiis place is not exactly next to the town like it looks on the map - it's a miniature adventure getting down into the valley if you're not accustomed to small Italian roads. However, if you want a place to truly(!) disconnect, this is the spot.

Super hote effectivement ! Matteo m'a conseillé sur les parcours à faire et a été aux petits soins à tout point de vue. Petit déjeuner et chambre salle de bains superbes. Un gars super sympa et un des meilleurs rapport qualité prix que j ai vu depuis un mois en Sicile

L’appartement est très spacieux, et il est doté de deux terrasses donnant sur la mer et l’Etna. Il y a aussi un beau jardin où l’on peut prendre le petit déjeuner, et Debora et son mari ont été très accueillants! Grazie mille!

The property and Mussomeli itself was great. Located right at the Piazza Umberto...squeaky clean...great breakfast...

Wonderful place to stay deep in nature. I arrived at night and woke to birdsong and a stunning view over the mountains to the sea. The room was very peaceful and comfortable. The host was super friendly and welcoming. Thank you for your hospitality! Really recommend this place for a visit to the nature of the Madonie park!
