The villa is located in a quaint village of Aravenu. It has beautiful surroundings. The host Subhash has planned this villa excellently to make guests comfortable and enjoy the stay. It is about 5 km from town of Kotagiri on a scenic route. The villa is in gated community with 24/7 security, so safety is not a concern. The big lawn and a gazebo provides ample space to enjoy outdoor activities in lush green surrounding. We will definitely love to return to this place for a longer stay.

Thakurs cottage was a amazing place that we all enjoyed, Suresh the caretaker was super helpful and made us delicious homely meals. Would recommend to everyone looking for a staycation!

It was a wonderful stay for 2 of us couples with kids. Hosts have ensured that our stay was comfortable and helped us in settling down. Felt like Home away from Home. Just sit in the gallery and enjoy the scenic beauty and beautifully maintained garden. We had the most wonderful stay at Simple’s property in Coonoor. We visited to celebrate a special birthday and an anniversary and it was great! Simple and the staff were incredibly responsive, attending to our needs promptly and ensuring our stay was comfortable The location is truly breathtaking—private, serene, and surrounded by stunning views! The room was beautifully designed, providing a perfect blend of aesthetics and cosiness The large windows with valley views were the highlight of the room, allowing us to immerse ourselves in nature fully. The on-site treehouse was a delightful highlight, offering a view of the waterfall and the soothing sound of cascading water. Early mornings were divine, with the gentle mist and serene atmosphere creating the perfect start to each day. We left with hearts full of joy and gratitude, and we wish Simple all the best in continuing to offer such a great experience to future guests. We are already looking forward to coming back again!

We had a fantastic stay at this farmstay with our cat and dog. The property is scenic and spacious, with a beautifully maintained garden and lush greenery. We especially loved spending time on the verandah with the BBQ, soaking in the peaceful surroundings. The on-site dogs were incredibly friendly and got along well with our pets. A personal highlight for me was the giant windmill right next door—it added a unique charm to the place, especially when paired with the breathtaking, star-filled night sky as seen from the terrace above. Inside, the stay was just as comfortable. The kitchen is well-stocked. One thing to note: the TV isn't a smart TV, so if you plan on streaming Netflix or similar, it's worth bringing a laptop with an HDMI cable. Overall, a perfect escape for nature lovers, pet owners, and anyone looking for a relaxing retreat!

Fantastic property located within a quiet neighborhood for someone who needs some peace. The entire place is as spacious and maintained well as shown in the photos. Made us feel right at home!

We visited this place with 4 families, 8 adults and 4 children. The host Selvaraj was very supportive, answering all questions over phone until we reach the property. After reaching the property, caretakers Selvaratnam and Vinit took care of everything. The hospitality of caretakers is worth mentioning. They prepared delicious home made food at a reasonable rate (the rate mentioned in the menu is for 1kg of prepared food, which is sufficient to serve for 5-6 adults). The view from the house is amazing. We were also able to see a lot of wild Bisons from the Balcony. Overall it was a very pleasant stay.

The location is peaceful yet close to Kotagiri’s main attractions, and Ram’s helpful tips made exploring the area easy.
