Cottage vacation rentals in Atwick

We had a fantastic few days at Holly Cottage, they really have thought of everything! Instruction videos, chargers by the beds, lovely welcome tray of goodies and wine. The cottage is so tranquil with loads to do nearby. We highly recommend the museum quarter and the fruit market area in Hull as well The Deep and Beverley. The garden and hot tub are also great. A few people had mentioned rules in the reviews but they were all just sensible advice and common sense and not an issue whatsoever. We loved our stay and will be back, thanks so much for a lovely break ⭐

Loved it here, a real home from home for us and perfect for exploring both York and further north. We loved the fact it was homely and rural, and the hot tub was a real treat. The only tiny downside was the oven is old and took a while to cook on, but we ate out too so not a massive problem. Just what we were after, thank you!

Me and my group of 4 stayed in Jenson Cottage & we absolutely loved every second! We decided to go here for a late birthday weekend away & York town was about a twenty minute taxi away where we spent Friday evening. The host’s were amazing - we had a minor problem with working the barbecue on our second day as it was our first time and the host came to help us straight away, we also got lost as it’s no where near our local area and the host was able to direct us straight to the location. we have made incredible memories and this lodge is fantastic value and somewhere that we will definitely be coming back.

3 Railway Cottage is a fantastic base to explore the amazing beauty of North Yorkshire. The cottage is located a 20 minute walk from the centre of Pickering but is in a really quiet and private location. The only exception of course is the opportunity to wave at the heritage railway trains that pass at the back of the cottage a few times a day which is really amazing, especially if you wave from the comfort of the hot tub! I can’t recommend this location highly enough, it is a really comfortable and well equipped cottage in a fantastic location - what more could you ask for?

Just back from the most relaxing weekend we’ve had for a long time. Gemma’s cottage is beautiful. It’s clean, modern and has everything you could ask for. We visited the pub opposite for meals and everyone was so friendly. We just loved our time there! Gemma is a great host, she is responsive and so kind. When we’ve stopped in other places the rules what you can and can’t do are sometimes quite off putting (I understand it’s your home and you want everyone to respect it though) Gemma is so laid back and this I think makes you respect the space and house more (well id like to think most people are the same as us) so we felt very relaxed. The hot tub is great and amenities. We are definitely coming back for another relaxing weekend. Thank you Gemma xx

We had such a cosy and relaxing stay at The Nook. The hot tub was a treat, but what truly made it special was the cinema room—we spent our evenings introducing our kids to our favourite films, and it was such a lovely way to bond as a family. The whole place was full of thoughtful, personal touches that made it feel extra welcoming, and the generous welcome hamper was unlike anything we've ever had before. A perfect little getaway spot—we’d absolutely love to return!

Wow! What a find! The house is stunningly situated amongst amazing views and surrounded by nature and wildlife. We loved looking out across the hills from the hot tub and playing in the field in front of the house and on the swings down by the pond. The village is in close walking distance even with a 3 year old in tow. The cottage itself feels special with beautiful wooden furniture which I assume comes from the timber farm it’s on. The rooms are spacious yet have that cosy cottage feel. The hosts are friendly, responsive and helpful without being intrusive - they were on hand as and when we needed them. Overall, a wonderful 2 night break was enjoyed and we would love to stay here again!

The cottage was lovely. Well equipped kitchen. Spacious and warm. The real selling point for us though were all of the activities available on site. More than we got value from to be honest and a future stay would be longer. Perfect escape opportunity for a group of families as you have your own space but also plenty of communal areas and lovely grounds. Also not far to Malton. Pretty town and well served by independent shops/cafes as well as supermarkets.

Lovely 1 night stay before a trip to Flamingoland with the family. Great value for money and lovely location. Very homely and cosy and clever use of space.

Another fantastic stay. Really love this place, so handy for great walks, fishing with great shops on your doorstep like the local butchers, bakery, chippys and pet shop. You have to try the cafe, copperfields…it’s amazing!

Kayleigh and Sue were super friendly and made us feel very welcome and at home. This cottage is great for a family get together like ours. We had a family wedding in York and drove in on Saturday but on Sunday we used the park and ride which was perfect. Did some sightseeing in the area and had the cottage to relax at in the evening. A perfectly equipped cosy cottage for a North Yorkshire stay. Very peaceful, very comfortable and a great private garden too. Lovely towns all around and the awesome Dalby Forest just up the road - perfect for walking & cycling.

Lovely accommodation and very comfortable. Everything was in the cottage that you’d need. Excellent location, could walk to the town in 2 minutes and really lovely wee town. Bus services good to local towns/villages so was good to have some time without driving. Did drive to a lovely seaside village, about 30 minutes drive, called Sandsend. Overall, excellent stay here.

An amazing place and great value for money. Perfect location, everything that we needed. Communication was brilliant. Everything was very simple. We loved that the place was totally equipped for our 14 month old daughter who had the best time making memories. We will definitely be back. We feel totally relaxed after our stay and are super grateful.

Emma’s countryside home in Menethorpe, Marlon is one of the most beautiful places we’ve ever stayed. The location is truly picturesque, with a peaceful stream nearby and horses, sheep, and cows grazing in the surrounding fields. It’s the perfect base to explore the area — York is just a short drive away, and the lovely village of Malton is only 5 minutes down the road, offering great restaurants, shops, and pubs. The house itself is cozy, super safe, and very well furnished, with all the amenities needed for a comfortable family vacation. Everything was spotless and thoughtfully prepared. We felt right at home from the moment we arrived. Emma was a fantastic host and made sure we had everything we needed. If you’re visiting this part of the country, this is a must-stay. Thank you, Emma — we’re already looking forward to returning!

Wow. What an absolutely STUNNING property. We took our two children (7 and 3 years old) and my goodness it didn’t disappoint. There was a full bookshelf full of films, toys, books, games, a full toy chest, outdoor activities, basically everything you could ever want. We have never felt so relaxed on a break with the kids! 😅 Claire was amazing and greeted us, she gave us recommendations on where to go and was on hand for anything. We will 10000% be back, thank you so much for a beautiful experience, you are incredibly lucky to live in such a gorgeous area 🩷

Perfect for our needs, the downstairs bedroom was great for elderly Grandparents, really well equipped house and enjoyable break. We walked along the beach to Filey at low tide, recommend Ingham fish and chip shop. Communication from Victoria was excellent 👍

My family and I loved this place. The location was perfect, with everything we wanted to see or do within walking distance. The house itself was cosy and comfortable, with amazing views.
