Glamping at its finest! This 16’ Yurt is tucked into the woods at Northwoods Resort. Just across the street from AuTrain Lake w/ full beach access. The yurt has 1 queen canopy bed, a cot under the bed for addn sleeping, cable tv, small refrigerator, microwave, keurig coffee maker, small charcoal grill, bonfire pit and chairs! The 1/2 bathroom is located just a short walk away in the laundry room for the resort as well as an outdoor shower. Also shared beach,dock, boat,canoe,kayak rental for use!

We are between Marquette (25 miles) and Munising (18 miles ) , and 6 miles west of AuTrain's gorgeous Beach and the AuTrain river, where canoeing / kayaking is extremely popular. Our quiet Hiawatha Log Home is clean and neat, with plenty of parking. The view is stunning of Lake Superior and AuTrain Island. Be sure to wake early for the sunrise. This property is not on Lake Superior. A quiet road and a narrow strip of county property separate the land and water. 1 pet permitted, $90 per stay.

Bungalows have an open floor plan. You walk in to a queen bed and a set of full size bunk beds (bring your own linens and pillows). Also included is electricity, a mini fridge and table. Outside the bungalow you will find a fire pit, picnic table and a small charcoal grill. There is no running water in the cabin and the BATHROOMS ARE LOCATED A SHORT DISTANCE AWAY (25 feet) within the campground and include warm showers and flushing toilets. Drinkable water also located at the campground.

Perfect Location!Lake Superior View

PLEASE NOTE: We just had a cancellation for 2025...August 3 - 7th. A "little condo in the pines" with a view of Lake Superior which is a short walk across the street. The AuTrain River empties into Lake Superior across the street, so the sand beach is beautiful & river water warm. Cottage is neat, clean, & cozy with all appliances a comfortable home would have along with privacy! I feel this is a very important feature as our guests have the whole yard to themselves.

Located on the shore of Lake Superior is one of a kind property with 3 acres of wooded land perfect for 2. There is an awesome firepit area located right on the shoreline with views of Autrain Island, Grand Island and more... The Suite is a perfect getaway or honeymoon destination for couples looking for that special spot. There is a nice big TV, WiFi and Netflix, OR 2 big picture windows overlooking the Lake. Our cabin is set on the beautiful AuTrain river, just minutes from Lake Superior. It is fully equipped to make your stay relaxing and fun! A full kitchen which includes a stove, fridge, and a BBQ grill to cook what you would like. There is a queen size bed, and a natural gas fireplace, and full bathroom. We also have a deck to enjoy the wildlife from. Hummingbirds, Blue Heron, geese, ducks, eagles, river otters and more have all been spotted from the front porch.

Its nestled in the woods where you can enjoy the peace and quiet of the forest but is still in close proximity to hiking, biking, cross country ski trails, and Marquette Mountain for downhill skiing and all Marquette has to offer. It is approximately 3 miles from the snowmobile trail and can be accessed using Green Garden Road. A very easy ride to the trail.
