We can really recommend this home. We were traveling two adults and two teenagers but could have accommodated another family. The house is great and big. The area is quiet and peaceful but a car is a must if you want to get to different places. Lucien is an amazing host who recommended a bunch of sights and restaurants the area and we were able to sample and buy olive oil and wine from our own manufacturing. We would be glad to come back. Loved our stay here, spotlessly clean and everything we needed to enjoy our visit. Pool was lovely and a great size for swimming. Andrew was super helpful, nothing was too much trouble.

We were very excited, the apartment was very clean and in order. I liked the style the best, the old beams and tiles combined with the very nicely renovated bathroom and the nice kitchen. The outdoor area is laid out with love in detail, which you can easily see and notice everywhere. Katleen is an amazing host, she is always available and immediately available for any questions and problems. Absolutely recommended.

Everything went very well. Christoph speaks fluent German (he is German) and French (I am French). The family was very hospitable and helpful. I also really appreciated the preservation of my privacy in the mini apartment where I stayed. Everything you need was inside. Easy bus connection to downtown and the train station. A big supermarket just around the corner. I am happy to recommend.

We can only reiterate what other guests have said: a lovely place to stay with a wonderful, big garden on different levels - great for children to explore! - and a much-appreciated swimming pool that we could already enjoy in late April. The possibility of purchasing food basics (eggs, milk, jam, wine...) from a cabinet downstairs and ordering bread and croissants for the following day is a great added touch, especially for anyone arriving late on in the day. The apartment itself is roomy (high ceilings), comfortable and decorated with character. There are lots of things to do in the area: you can head out on a hike directly from the property, drive to nearby Carcassonne, take the car into the hills to explore and visit gorges... And add to all this friendly and responsive hosts: we highly recommend the place and would definitely like to go back!

Friendly and welcoming hosts, clean accommodation, as described, very good location near the city center. Small but significant touches in the accommodation (fruit basket, small bottles of water, sugared almonds...). Recommended.

A quiet place to relax in the middle of a beautiful and very diverse region with lots to discover - scenic, historical and culinary. Thierry not only has a lot of very helpful tips for all the highlights that are worth visiting, but also knows a lot about food and wine. The house is very charming and lacks nothing.

Our family of 4 (two adults and two young children) had a fantastic stay here. Véronique and her family were just delightful and the perfect hosts. We wanted for nothing and felt at home immediately. We would certainly consider coming back again. The only thing to note would be that the two bedrooms are interconnected and not very insulated from sound so if someone wakes up (like a baby or toddler!) then it's likely everyone will wake up. Other than that it was all flawless.

Paul and Brigit’s gite is spacious, beautiful, well equipped, clean and in a beautiful location. The hosts were extremely helpful. I would recommend the place to anyone needing a relaxing and homely base for exploring and getting to know this beautiful part of France.
