Designed to be a comfortable, cool (w/ air conditioning), or warm (w/heater), clean sleeping space for up to three people, the Tiny Cabin will be the perfect place for rest while you enjoy a hike along the Appalachian Trail and/or water activities on Watauga Lake (Kayak/Canoe/Paddleboard rentals available). The Carter Room is a small private room at the Notch Hostel, a farmhouse-turned-hostel with communal bathrooms, kitchen, living room. The Carter Room has one full-size bed. 2nd floor, quick access to common areas. Shared bathrooms are located down the hall. Minimum 2-night stay on weekends. Dog-friendly room. We limit # of dogs on site per night. You must ask if we have space before booking with a dog. $20/dog/night. Dogs must be leashed at all times, may not be left unattended in the room.
