It has been purposely designed to make you feel relaxed and at home the moment you arrive into its cosy - yet incredibly functional interior. Its layout provides the utility of a kitchen (with hidden dining table), bathroom (with laundry) with the studio space transforming from the living room into the bedroom in seconds. STUDIO FEATURES: • High speed ADSL 2+ Wi-Fi, with a healthy download quota + the Netflix is unmetered so you will never experience buffering whilst watching. • 43” smart HDTV with complimentary Netflix connected to a multi purpose sound bar allowing you to pump the latest movie, sportscast, podcast or playlist around the studio. • Italian engineered wall bed converts the living room into a bedroom in seconds - without any loss of comfort. The queen mattress has "medium" firmness, and I've installed a mattress topper for additional softness. • Blackout blind, allowing you to sleep long into the morning, with an additional privacy blind for use if needed. • Three seat sofa to sink into after a long day, it extends out to become a massive chaise lounge so you can stretch out and relax! The sofa doubles as a single bed for those looking for a second place to sleep. • Elevator access to the studio • An assortment of lush indoor plants, to bring the outside in, green up the space and help you relax + they have the added benefit of cleaning the air! • Espressi coffee (pod) maker and a selection of tea and coffee to get your caffeine fix prior to heading out and exploring Melbourne's great cafe culture. • Rain head shower with complimentary all natural body wash, shampoo, conditioner, hand wash and lotion, plus fluffy towels and a hairdryer to help you dry off quickly! • Large original Art Deco steel casement window opens up the studio and bathes it in natural light. • Functional kitchen to suit a wide range of purposes from cooking up a storm to just reheating leftovers! Appliances include fridge/freezer, electric cooktop, oven, microwave, toaster, kettle and dishwasher. • A pantry stocked with a range of spices, herbs, oils, condiments and spreads to assist in any culinary adventures you undertake. • A drop leaf table folds up from the kitchen wall, creating a dining table for two, great for when you want to sit down to eat or plan the day’s adventures over a cup of coffee. • New washing machine with express settings. Take advantage of complimentary laundry detergent, fabric softener and stain remover. A clothes drying rack and ironing facilities are also provided. • Heating and cooling is provided by a state of the art Dyson Hot + Cool fan. If you are especially sensitive, or just want to snuggle up on the couch, an extra blanket is provided. • Dual wardrobes allow you can hang your clothes and comfortably store belongings or suitcases out of the way. • Use of myki public transport cards to help you travel outside of Melbourne’s Free Tram Zone. BUSINESS TRAVELLERS: Madison’s central CBD location makes it very easy to get to meetings you may have. For those coming to the Melbourne Convention and Exhibition Centre, you can walk there in 15 minutes. The whole apartment is yours to enjoy on your own with complete privacy. BEFORE ARRIVAL: I strive to ensure you have all the information you require to ensure an easy arrival, from clear directions from the airport to detailed self check in instructions. AFTER ARRIVAL: Once you've arrived, you’ll find clear information on the apartment, plus a local map combining the best place to get a coffee, to where you can pick up some basics. I like to message you occasionally during your stay to check in, and am happy to provide additional recommendations if asked. ISSUES: If an issue arises I'm usually not far away, plus my partner helps co-host. So you are in good hands! The studio is in the very heart of Melbourne's CBD. It's at the quiet end of Flinders Lane, famous for its restaurants and unique laneways. TRAMS: The apartment is located in the free tram zone, and is a short tram ride, or walk to both Flinders Street (6 minutes) and Southern Cross (13 minutes) train stations (for access to the airport via Skybus). I provide myki (public transport) cards as part of the booking which can be used if travelling via train, bus or the tram network. Of course, being so central in the CBD you can also walk everywhere! CAR: Those travelling with a car or thinking of hiring one during your stay, there is paid timed street parking and parking garages located within a 100m walk of the apartment. If considering this, I can provide more detailed information during the booking process. MINIMUM STAY: Please note my minimum stay varies, for trips occurring: - greater than 21 days from today my minimum is 5 days - between 7 and 21 days from today my minimum is 3 days - within 7 days of today, my minimum is 1 day DISCOUNTS: Please note I do not offer additional discounts above those already included in the price quoted to you by Airbnb. My listing is competitively priced and I take pride in offering guests more value than just a bed to sleep in. APARTMENT SIZE: The studio is 32 square metres in size (345 square feet), which is quite compact and cosy. A floor plan has been included in the photos for perspective. Depending on your personal preferences you may find the apartment great, as a lot of my guests have, or you may find it a little small (as a minority guests have). STREET NOISE: The apartment is located in a quiet part of the city, and is situated on the 3rd floor, so while street noise is diminished, it may bother especially light sleepers. Again, over 95% of past guests have not commented on it, and for light sleepers a supply of earplugs is provided.

Unique, Intimately Styled South Yarra Sanctuary

@__littlejourney__ Situated on Claremont Street, above South Yarra's most bustling cafe, Two Birds One Stone (type into web browser "broadsheet two birds one stone"). I guarantee you'll enjoy this perfectly positioned residence - The apartment is new and elegantly styled (OLY, Mezai, Coco Republic). It is a 1 bedroom with high ceilings on the 15th floor (there are 16 floors). It comes fully furnished with Sheridan linen (amazing flax linen is to die for) and fluffy Sheridan towels. An east facing corner apartment with Chapel Street and mountain views - no expense has been spared for you to enjoy this perfectly positioned residence. The apartment is just minutes walk away from an abundant mix of cafés and restaurants (see my guidebook for a comprehensive listing, otherwise I'll be sure to message you with a selection of cafes once your reservation is confirmed). I also adore the convenience of every single service (e.g. yoga, vegan cafe, supermarket (Western + Asian), dry cleaner, hairdressers, barbers, nail salons, banks, post office, bookshops and gift stores) - all right on your doorstep. The kitchen is equipped with Miele appliances, SMEG kettle, Royal Doulton cutlery and crockery, dishwasher and a dining table for 2. Rainshower in the bathroom. Aesop/Grwon Alchemist shower products. Diptyque candles. Bose iPod dock. Strong and fast unlimited WiFi. European laundry (with dryer). The outdoor area has a herb garden and BBQ, and is a super appropriate and gorgeous space for you to enjoy (see photos). The entire apartment leases at a rate of between $120 - $150 AUD per night (subject to seasonal variation) and can accommodate 2 people up to 6 people with additional bedding. This is the perfect apartment, suited to those seeking an above average stay - corporate professionals and discerning guests look no further! - South Yarra train station (5 minute walk) - CBD (7 minutes by train) - CBD (10 minutes by car) A car park is allocated for the duration of your stay (this is free). Additional bedding (one queen size airbed and one single size foam mattress can also be provided for additional guests, $35 charge per person per night). This is a well-positioned apartment, nestled away but still so close to all the action - it is perfect for either short or long stays. I welcome young (but mature folk), gay or lesbian, older folk, business folk, as well as overseas uni students and couples (my apartment is not for one night hook ups or just wanting a place to crash after partying over the weekend!). A short walk away is every kind of everything; Woolworths (5 mins), IGA (2 mins), Coles (15 mins), banks, pharmacy, yoga (10 mins), 24 hour gym (1 min), Botanical Gardens (15 mins), and so, so, so much more… If time permits I'm more then happy to share a tea or latte, or chai and my 7 years extensive knowledge of living in the SY area :) Don't hesitate to get in touch if you have any questions – I'd be happy to help and will get back to you as soon as possible! My personal belongings are not in this apartment - this means plenty of wardrobe space for you, shelving, fridge space - the place should feel just like your own! *Cleaners will come through the apartment fortnightly if your stay is of the extended variety! *can also add a luxe experience to your stay for an additional $25 per trip :) little luxuries upgrade includes (to use) Chanel fragrances for him and her, Byredo fragrances, Diptyque fragrances, Aspar moisturiser, Aesop facial products (serums, moisturiser, eye cream), Chanel lip balm, Diptyque candles. Definitely a nice way to treat the lady in your life or just to treat yourself! I use these products and many others in my own home and they are all amazing! as a guest, you're welcome to the fridge and a fully stocked pantry. I love interacting with all my guests however much or little - don't hesitate to text, call or send me a message via Airbnb. I'm usually always very close by if you need me in the event of an (unlikely) emergency! South Yarra is a blend of fast and slow. The standard of living is high, the area is safe, and the food is excellent. Close to the CBD, the bay, and major shopping districts, it's perfect for living in true Melbourne style. 5 minute walk to South Yarra train station or tram on Toorak Rd, taking you direct into CBD. Car space available (free). preference for young couples from overseas / mature couples / business owners / professionals relocating or on long term contracts. I also provide myki cards to all my guests so you can get around on the trains, trams and buses hassle free.
