Farmstay vacation rentals in Austria

The place was just great! Everything was clean, well equipped and the host was very kind. We felt completely comfortable and can only recommend it. A perfect stay!

We couldn't have imagined a better place to stay for our ski tour vacation. The house is a little off the slope and has a spectacular view. The equipment is simple and heated with an old tiled stove; which makes for the rustic charm and coziness. It can be a bit chilly in the bedrooms, but there are also small electric radiators there. Communication with Theresia and her family was always quick, easy and very friendly. A highlight was the fresh milk and cheese available on the farm.

Very nice place in a beautiful neighborhood. Everything is as described. Claudia is very helpful and kind. In fact, we don't have any reservations. If you're going in the winter, take to heart the hosts' request to take chains in the car, we could use it once.

Spent another quiet few days in the Waldviertel. Unfortunately, the weather was very rainy. The house was all the more cozy in the house. And the poodle liked the large garden despite bad weather.

We had a wonderful weekend at Arno's place in St. Johann! Check-in and communication were totally straightforward. The apartment was clean and exactly as written. Arno gave us good tips for the area. We will be happy to come back!

A very very good and relaxing getaway. Everything was very clean and tidy. Very well equipped accommodation and fresh eggs and milk daily. We were fully prepared for relaxation from the first moment. A wonderfully quiet location with many excursion and above all hiking opportunities. There was nothing missing and there was always a contact person on site. The cows and cats on the farm were of course the highlight for the kids. They were allowed to help or just look. A very friendly and easy-going hostess. A good ski resort (departure) was not even that far away (about 40 minutes by car) and well groomed. Absolutely recommended if you want to enjoy the peace and nature.

Gregor’s farm flat was the perfect way to end our Bavarian adventures. The location felt secluded even though it was close to malls and restaurant (I highly recommend Luca’s pizza nearby). It was an easy drive into Salzburg and simple to find from the highway. The beds were cozy and the space was well-appointed. But our favorite feature by far was the generous offer to go and see the animals in the barn and feed/pet them. It was perfect for lazy mornings. Our teenager even woke up early to go see the horses, chickens, rabbits, and pigs! You won’t regret a stay at Gregor’s place.

5 star place to stay, amazing view, very charming house, way better than any place in Hallstatt. We had amazing days. Thanks to Suzanne who was very helpful and kind to us. Definitely considering to come back again.

We had a very relaxing few days in Willi's apartment! 😊 A spacious, well-equipped apartment that exactly matches the photos. Good location for exploring Burghausen and surroundings. The kids had fun with the sheep, goats, chickens, and geese and with the cat Schnurli! 🐱 Great garden!

This the place is quiet and nice, equipped with all the comforts. Simple and effective. The reception was very warm and communication easy. Close to amenities and the slopes around the corner. Even in the summer, this will probably be a beautiful base.

My girlfriends and I had a wonderful stay at the Koboldhof. From the very beginning, we felt right at home! :) The house is super equipped, the sauna very cozy and the view over the large window front is simply fantastic - just to feel good! The owners are incredibly nice and helpful. :) The horses and dog entertained us well and the fresh eggs from the chickens were a great extra. We will be happy to come back! :)

Markus and your family were great hosts! The location is quiet with a beautiful view from the valley. I found the rooms very cozy and the kitchen has all the appliances you need. The 270-degree balcony is great to lie down and relax. The shops in Mittersill are only ten minutes away. There are many opportunities to hike and learn. The family is really friendly and helpful. Highly recommended!

Lisa’ place is a bit of heaven on earth. It is in such a lovely, idyllic setting. The apartment was big, bright, clean and comfortable. The nearby town of Unterach is beautiful and the mountains surrounding Attersee are incredible. We enjoyed staying on the farm and our kids loved all of the animals. We would definitely recommend this place and would love to return one day.

The apartment with Markus was really indescribably beautiful. You have enough space and everything is as described - if not even better. Nature is enormous and our vacation there was a real experience. Thanks, again!!!

We arrived with our baby for two nights and were very warmly welcomed by Magdalena and Dominik. The place was very nice, clean and cozy. The farm is perfect for families and offers a lot. Very clear recommendation we would book again and again for a longer stay

Cozy, spacious and well-equipped apartment with a beautiful view of the mountains. With a crackling fire in the fireplace, it became even more cozy. The ski resort in Rauris was very easy to reach. Many thanks to the hosts for your understanding and courtesy in resolving minor issues, even though the communication options ended up being a little overused. We are happy to recommend you. Thank you! We felt very comfortable. :) The accommodation is very attractively furnished, we were provided with all the information we needed in advance. The hosts were easy to reach and quickly helped with wifi, etc.

Brigita was a wonderful host! She is verry responsive and warm perom, ready to help with what ever you need. The apartmant was cosy and the views are so so lovely. It was so easy to relax. The beautiful interior, huge windows with views into forests and vinejard and the fire place made this stay so special. Thank you!

Had a very nice week with the family in this stay! For the children, everything from toys, board games to even a game console was also provided. Very complete cottage, nice kitchen, in a good location both on foot and on car. Fast and good communication with Nadia, she always responds quickly and kindly.

Dina and Lars are extremely helpful and friendly hosts. Their house is beautiful and hosted several guests while we stayed there, but still felt private and you hardly noticed the other guests.

Michaela's place was a true gem. We especially loved the roofed outdoor area as we could eat, chill, play games and nap there ;) It had lots of blankets and cushions to feel very comfortable. Inside we liked that there were different areas, all with a door, so you could have your privacy. The kitchen was cute with lots of decorations and had everything you need (also a large oven as well as a small one). The place had cool art and funny signs. The bedroom and living room had acces to the balcony, which we didn't use because the outdoor lounge area was so awesome. It was 30 degrees during the day and 20 at night and we could always stay outside. Breakfast on the terrace above the outdoor area was also nice. It was a 30-40 minute walk to a lovely little lake with a (gras) beach area and simple restaurant. We mostly went to the bigger Faaker lake, because it was nicer to swim and had way better views. The neighbourhood was quiet and peaceful, you hardly heard anything. We loved it!
