Our cozy apartment "Zaukennest" is located in our half-timbered house with separate entrance. The house is located in the 2nd row on the slope directly on the forest and is only accessible via steps. The towing nest is designed for 2 persons, simple extra bedding is exceptionally possible. A set of linen (bed linen/towels) can be booked for a flat rate of EUR 25 (own purchase). The private parking is about 250m away. Downtown and ferry dock: 5-10 min. Train station by ferry: 20 min.

The Markthaus is a historic gem and is listed as the first hostel in Saxon Switzerland. The house frames the market square in the mirror image of the market church below the castle ruin on the romantic painter's path. Vaulted cellars and foundation walls date to 1527. The main house was built in 1734 and operated as a relaxation, post office and tavern. In 1850 a massive cultivation in the Classicist style took place. Röhringer operated the Hotel Sächsische Schweiz here.

Our home is a 270-year-old surrounding house that we have renovated and converted in loving work. As far as possible, we have preserved or restored the old wooden planks or timber trusses. Our garden is set up in such a way that creatures that are native to it can still feel comfortable like, salamanders, hedgehogs, fireflies, kingfishers and wild bees. Those who stay in the garden for a longer time can observe these many rare inhabitants in our garden.
