Wonderful house in the heart of Alsace. Beautiful surroundings and driving distance for sightseeing in Strasbourg and Colmar.

The house is great. The location is beautiful and the view of the countryside was fantastic. You can very well explore the whole place on foot. In the house there is everything you need. The host responds very quickly and reliably. We definitely want to go there again!

lovely cottage. Quiet , clean and complete . Sleeps 2 on the meadow, for us fine. The only thing we were sorry about was that you only have a veranda and no garden at your disposal. But definitely a great cottage, neatly tidy and the communication with Andrea went great . Village of Konigsfeld is within walking distance. Nice forest with squirrels, the outdoor swimming pool is recommended with children . A number of stores and restaurants. Furthermore, a nice base for trips by car. The waterfalls in Simonswald are beautiful (but a steep climb) a visit to Konstanz is well worth it and the toboggan run in Gutach is also nice for young and old .

The short vacation week was as desired: quiet, secluded enough, green, lots of nature, lots of scenery, lots of space around, extremely cozy - ideal for two - great ambience with outdoor sauna immediately afterwards.... We enjoyed the break very, very much. TIP: The host runs an exquisite restaurant with excellent menu suggestions in about 10 km distances in the village of Bitche... reserving in advance makes sense...😉

If you want to get a feel for the real Black Forest and for a working circular farm in southern Germany, this is the place to stay! Take the tour with Hans Hartwig and hear amazing stories during teatime in the Treehouse! We recommend this amazing guesthouse, the friendly and very interesting people and last but not least all the animals. Lily the Berner Sennen, the 15 cows that all have names, geese, sheep, 2 horses, cats and ravens in the trees.

We had a great stay at the chalet, it is very spacious and perfect for 6 people. There is everything you need there and the location is very suitable for a trip to Strasbourg or Offenburg. Communication with Alina was also great and very straightforward.

Great location, huge fenced outdoor space (our kid and dog loved it), quiet and private chalet. Host is very responsive, flexible check-in, chalet was ready and waiting for us, with the fireplace up and running. Thanks a lot Thierry

We loved the cottage,perfect for our family with a 4-year-old and two dogs . The fenced and well-kept garden, the indoor pool and the surroundings full of nature trails but quite close to the city center have made our vacation enchanting. We will definitely be back.

We had a fantastic vacation at Le Chalet Noir! The atmospehere in the house and the surroudings were amazing. The place was very well organized and designed. It was perfectly clean and we had everything we needed for our stay. Nicole was always very helpful and responsive. We definetly want to come back to have the experience once again.

An absolutely amazing stay- beautiful surroundings and great house!

We were here with a group with several toddlers. For this purpose it was perfect to occupy the children with a large garden in a quiet location and lots of opportunities to occupy the children. For the adults, hot tub and boulbahn were great.

We totally enjoyed our stay at the Modenbacher Hof - everything was a great fit and we'd love to come back. Thank you again for the uncomplicated communication, the tips and the nice time in the Palatinate :)

We were a group of 10, coming from all over the world for a reunion. The house was ideal for our needs, spacious bedrooms, two lovely outdoor areas, one in morning, one in evening for meals together. The kitchen was well stocked. An authentic, characterful home, but with modern bathrooms. You will need a car here as the house is in the countryside.

This house is truly special. It captured the nature feeling of the beautiful surroundings, but also has modern touches that keep you comfortable and pampered. The house has 3 floors with full bathroom in each one, which worked great for our party of 6. Kitchen was well equipped. There was even WiFi (it said 'no WiFi' when we booked it so it is probably a new addition and it was a very nice surprise). Annette is a wonderful host! She and her dog Bella made our stay even more special. She showed us around, gave great recommendations, and even found books for us in our native language :). We definitely recommend this home! And there's another beautiful unit on the property that's worth checking out, it's absolutely beautiful!

We stayed with Falk in Alpirsbach as a family and had rented the entire house. There was more than enough space for all of us. We were able to eat and cook together. The location is fantastic, the house is wonderfully located on a hill in the middle of the forest, just outside Alpirsbach. We were woken up in the morning by the chirping of the birds. Pure relaxation. We enjoyed the days in the Swiss house very much.
