Family-friendly vacation rentals in Barbaste

We were a family passing through for a wedding in La Romieu, the cottage was perfect for us: large spaces for living rooms, a pool to relax, very good beds. Unfortunately, we didn't stay long enough to enjoy the area and other benefits of this place.

Extremely pleasant stay in Jocelyne's beautiful house. The place is totally in line with the photos, if not even better. The place is really quiet, it's very soothing. Everything was perfect, the pool, the hot tub, the garden, the well-equipped kitchen, the dining and rest areas. We felt like we were home very quickly. Jocelyne advised us on activities and restaurants next to her house. Thank you again for hosting us. This week was perfect! We'll be happy to go back!

A dreamy little corner, peaceful, surrounded by animals. Local and quality products available. Every detail is thought out, everything is on a short circuit. This is the true luxury of our era.

The house is very well equipped and as described. It's really spacious and everyone was able to find their place. Our hosts were welcoming and flexible with check-in and checkout times. They took the time to explain the functioning of the house to us. The stay went very well.

I had a lovely time with my friends in this beautiful home. We loved the pool and this beautiful view, we enjoyed it from morning to sunset. Kim is very available, she sent us clear recommendations and explanations, it was a pleasure to talk with her. The air conditioning in the rooms as well as the sauna and hot tub are a real plus for a summer stay like ours. Finally, we loved seeing the pony stroll through the garden when we woke up.

The house is exceptional, in a very quiet setting. We had a great time between the pool, barbuc and shooting stars. The host provided us with towels and fans (the house stays cool even in hot weather). Special mention to Patrick for his responsiveness and kindness. I recommend it 100%.

A short stay in a peaceful environment in the countryside, but less than 5 minutes by car from the city, and in the heart of an area rich in villages, bastides and castles. Lucinda is a friendly, caring, accommodating host who is keen to make our stay as pleasant as possible.

We spent the Easter weekend at Andrew's house, as a family of 14. It rained the whole stay but we were still comfortable in the large house between the large living room and its fireplace which warmed us up, the dining room and the attached game room. We will have to come back to enjoy the pool, pétanque, bikes and great outdoors around. It's a big rustic house, you can find things to complain about but the price is what we have. In our opinion, the priority for improvement would be the bathrooms. There are all the amenities to have a good stay and Andrew was very responsive when we needed to turn on the boiler.

A beautiful, efficient and intimate place! A spacious house with everything you need to spend a weekend with family and friends. Weekend has 8 with child. Above ground pool which facilitates safety for children, garden tables and chairs in all garden nooks! BBQ/ Plancha. what else! And most importantly, hosts who answer your questions as soon as possible, who will be attentive and help you make this weekend unforgettable! and above all very discreet! I can't help but recommend this place!

We had a great time with friends at Christian's. The house is spacious, functional, in a peaceful environment. Everything you need is available (dishwasher, cleaning products, toilet paper, etc.) The beds made on arrival and towels are very much appreciated! We also thank him for all his special touches. A beautiful house with very large garden and pool, the house is very well equipped with everything you need and a great swimming pool. We had a great holiday with our two children and our dog, we would definitely return.

Very nice house, beautiful setting, very friendly host

We have just spent a very enjoyable week at The Lavender Gite and it exceeded our expectations by far in every way, we loved every minute of our stay there. The welcome, hospitality, generosity and kindness from Marie and Joel was outstanding/superb. They are lovely, genuine people that it was a pleasure to meet. The gite is excellently equipped with all you need, and has every convenience you would have in your own home. There is also a fabulous large, outdoor lounge & kitchen/BBQ area which is a great relaxing space. We really enjoyed the swimming pool too, it was very refreshing in the hot weather. The gite is in a lovely setting, just a minute's walk from the traditional, old town of Damazan. Our only regret was that we hadn't booked for a longer stay. We will definitely go back again (something we don't tend to do) and highly recommend it.

We loved staying at Gite de Perrot. The house is beautiful and the views are breathtaking, especially the evening light on the surrounding hills and fields- like a painting. The new and spacious kitchen was a dream and the bedrooms and living areas were well appointed with everything needed for a large family or group of friends. We breakfasted by the pool and dined each evening on the terrace, enjoying the beautiful light. Enzo and his mother Valerie were very thoughtful and helpful. We were greeted with some excellent wine to help celebrate a special birthday and appreciated the many local suggestions to help make our stay most enjoyable. Thank you so much for making our long awaited French holiday amazing!! We travelled far from Melbourne,Australia but it so worth it!

Would highly recommend a stay at Vincent’s. He was very communicative and showed us around when we arrived. The place is incredibly spacious and the pool was brilliant!
