In Middelfart, you have the opportunity for Bridgewalking and beautiful hikes in the Hindsgavl Nature Park, zoo and castle. Just across the bridge in Fredericia, there is a free playground, Madsbyparken.

Faurskov Mølle - Private apartment

Faurskov Mølle is located in the beautiful Brende Aadal - one of the most scenic areas on Funen. The area invites you to hike in forests and meadows. Likewise, the Funen fishing waters are within a short driving distance and Barløse Golf for a round, can be reached possibly by bike. Faurskov Mill is an old watermill with one of Denmark's largest mill wheels, diameter (6.40 m). There was originally a grain mill, which was later changed to a wool spinning mill. Log house! A real cottage/vacation home, where it exudes grandmotherly coziness! No TV or internet, but lots of books and games (there is a good 4G connection). It is cozy when the wood stove is lit, the house can also be heated with the heat pump, heating can be started before arrival. 200 meters down to Fønsvig, where there is a beach, as well as a small bathing jetty, where you can just grab a morning dip. If you like fishing, you can go out and catch sea trout, as well as other fish species.

Yes, it's tiny. The double bed is tiny (120 cm X 200 cm). The extra bed is tiny. The sink is tiny. But it will not be a tiny experience. The surrounding landscape is huge and plentiful. Private beach, forest and cliff viewpoint within walking distance. Bring your camera and a positive mindset :-)

Vi har en dejlig lejlighed i forbindelse med vores gård, tæt på Vejlby Fed strand. Den er på 60 m2 og har køkken-bad, soveværelse, tv-wifi, stue på 1. sal. Lejligheden er velegnet til et par med 1-2 mindre børn. Vores vildmarksmad kan benyttes mod et gebyr på 300 kr. eller 40 euro. Bemærk at hvis det er hård frost er vildmarksbadet ikke tilgængeligt. Der ønskes en lettere rengøring ved afrejse. Hvis gæster ikke selv ønsker at gøre rent, kan de vælge at betale et rengøringsgebyr på 400 kr.

The newly built sunroom, with a direct view of the sea, makes the house enjoyable all year round. The rooms are small and what we call an annex can only be seen as an extra bedroom located 8 meters from the house and cannot be locked from inside. The house is ideal for 4 people, but there are 6 beds. The price includes use of electricity, water, and heating.
