Skipperhuset

🏡 Skipperhuset is the oldest house on our family farm Birkenes located in Farsund municipality. The Skipper House was built in the 19th century and has been rehabilitated several times, most recently in the spring of 2021. In collaboration with a local painting company, we are working to make the house as authentic as possible, including wallpapering the living room, kitchen and hallway with skipper house wallpaper and linseed oil paint to preserve wood, etc. The Skipperhuset has a natural place on the farm and is located wall to wall with the brewery house which has a renovated baker's oven.

On the ground floor, you will find a hallway, laundry room, bathroom, TV lounge with a sofa bed, and 3 bedrooms with 2 single beds in each room. On the second floor, there is a large kitchen and a living room with a dining area and a TV area, as well as a master bedroom with a double bed and a large bathroom. Large terrace with several seating areas, a hot tub, a fire pit and a great view. Perfect for families or friends who want a comfortable stay close to the sea and nature.

With the possibility of renting a boat in the boathouse in the garden (20 ft and 60 hp trailer) with access to a slipway, kayak and paddle board. Perfect for summer activities. At the boathouse there is a jetty with a bathing ladder. The house has two bedrooms. Double bed in one and double bed with bunk in the other. The property is located 4 km from the center of Lyngdal. 3 km from Sørlandsbadet. 8 km from Handelsparken.

Welcome to our brand-new apartment, completed in 2025, with a great location and fantastic views of Rosfjord! This nice apartment is close to everything Lyngdal has to offer. The apartment has a lovely terrace with a great view. Inside you will find a comfortable bedroom, a modern bathroom and an open living room/kitchen solution that is perfect for both relaxation and cooking. Possibility of renting bed linen and towels. Guests clean up after themselves. There is also the option of a cleaning service for a fee.

Enjoy a relaxing holiday with the whole family in our modern, high-standard cabin! This is our family cabin, which we use as often as we can, but we’re happy to share it when we’re not there. The cabin is spacious at 150 m², with four bedrooms and sleeping space for up to 11 guests—perfect for two families traveling together. In addition, a luxurious sauna with panoramic fjord and mountain views is scheduled for completion by spring/summer 2026. We hope you’ll enjoy it as much as we do!
