“This place is so special. Beautiful bungalows set on a small arm of the Mekong surrounded by fruit and palm trees. The rooms themselves are beautifully constructed and the fans are sufficient to keep them cool, photos really do not do justice! Falling asleep to the sounds of the river was so soothing, just keep in mind there will be a few bugs and maybe a gecko or two but you can’t be this close to nature and have it any other way :) We loved having breakfast and dinner on the water while observing the river life. The food is simple and tasty. It’s also possible to rent bikes or a scooter and ride into town or to the cities nearby for other food adventures. Huynh and his family are lovely hosts, everyone was so helpful and friendly. Getting to the house was a bit complicated but directions were super clear and we made it with no problems. On our way out Huynh personally had the taxi driver escort us to the bus and make sure we got a seat. The only thing we might have changed was the 5 hour boat tour. It was very tourist oriented (many stops where we were pressured to purchase items and tip) and we would have preferred a more relaxed trip through smaller canals with more authentic interactions. Just our opinion though- there was a family with small children who seemed to enjoy it much more. I think there is a 2 hour trip available with Huynh himself which is possible to arrange, but this wasn’t offered to us so I’m not positive. Overall we loved our stay and would highly recommend to anyone looking to get off the beaten path and experience some real Mekong country living.”

“Sydney-Saigon-Cai Be This is a great place to experience life outside the big cities. Getting the details for the bus from Saigon was a little difficult to understand but we made it. For us the river front property was an amazing place however we were unable to sleep due to the noise of the boats, motorbikes and people which seemed to go all night. For the second night we requested to changed to the upstairs bungalow which was x100 less noisy and we were able to sleep. We had breakfast each day (no charge) and we ordered Elephant Fish from Thi’s Mother which was outstanding. We unfortunately were not offered a tour by Thi’s brother but found another tour operator across the road. The only reason why I wouldn’t stay is again is because the mattress is way too hard, it felt like laying on cement. A/c worked well and Thi’s English is really good.”

“The house is super unique and they have only one tiny house and also a private little garden in front of the door like a fairy tale, love it so much. It's much better than the picture. I have very good experiences and I definitely want to stay here again. The house is 3km far from the city center (~2$ taxi) or you can rent a motorbike.”
