Beach house vacation rentals in Big Sur

Such a beautiful peaceful stay for our time exploring Monterey and Big Sur! We loved being able to walk right down to the beach! Perfect spot for our family to spend a long weekend trip.

We had a wonderful stay at this beautiful home! It was peaceful, clean, and incredibly serene—just what our family needed. The surroundings were stunning and made it easy to relax and enjoy quality time together. Stefan, was a fantastic communicator, always responsive and helpful. We truly felt at home. We’re already talking about coming back again. Highly recommend to anyone looking for a quiet, beautiful, comfortable getaway! We didn’t have cell reception, but the WiFi was very good! We didn’t quite know how to use the stove but figured it out once we watched a short video online, be warned the stove heats up fast ha. The layout of the house is super ideal as all the bedrooms are downstairs. 10/10!

Once again, we had an amazing week in this amazing home! I can’t say enough about this beautiful slice of paradise! The views from every corner of the home takes your breath away. What a GEM! Easy beach access for soaking up the sun. The only problem is leaving….can’t even begin to tell you how we wish this was our forever home!!! Thank you for sharing 💖

Evan's place met our expectations. It has a great view of the many, many surfers at work right across the street as well as the steady stream of pedestrians. This is a very comfortable place. Very clean. Evan supplies a detailed list and review of coffee shops and Restaurants, and suggestions of many things to do. Evan was quick to respond to an issue with the hot tub and get it taken care of. Highly recommended.

The location was perfect, less than a block to the beach, with a walkable or bikeable pathway extending in both directions. The house was comfortable, with all of the amenities needed for a relaxing stay. There is construction currently along the beach pathway which unfortunately blocks the view a bit, but hopefully that will be done soon. It didn’t take away from being so close to the beauty, sounds and breeze of the Pacific. Would stay again!

Amber's place was very cozy and had everything we needed. Her communication was also really good. I definitely recommend this place if you are staying near Pismo Beach/SLO area.

We had a wonderful time in this beautiful home. I loved hearing the waves at night. The house was very clean and comfortable. I would definitely recommend it and I would stay here again. The property is beautiful and close to restaurants, shops, and great walking trails.

One of the best Airbnb stays I’ve ever had. The view alone is worth it — absolutely stunning, especially at sunrise and sunset. The house was spotless, super modern, and had little luxuries that made a big difference — like heated floors and even heated toilet seats. If you’re looking for a peaceful, high-end place to unwind in Half Moon Bay, this is it.

The place was very clean, comfortable and well located to do lots of fun stuff, near the village/ downtown and near a great walking / view area at Los lobos, as well as 17 mile drive.

It's a lovely place and a beautiful house! The house was clean and exactly as described. The beach and a playground are a 3-minute walk from the house, well-suited for our three-year-old. The house is located in a quiet neighborhood. The picturesque Bluff Trail is a walk or a short drive, just a few blocks down the road. A 15-minute drive to Elephant Seal Vista Point! We loved the place and would stay here again.

We have been coming to Pajaro Dunes for 37 years. Our family loves it. This house needs some attending to. In one of the downstairs showers, the soap dish on the wall was broken. You need to be VERY VERY careful. My nephew cut his thumb and needed to get stitches. I was told I could check in before the rain started, but the office hadn't unlocked the house on their end. I had to drive back to the check in office and ended up getting wet while unpacking the car. Not the end of the world, but a little irritating. It took quite awhile to figure out the space heaters, some did not work. Kitchen pots and pans need updating - bring your own!! We had a great time and lots of great memories continue for our family.

Our family had a great time staying here! The condo was beautiful, clean, spacious and stocked with all the supplies we needed! The bedrooms were comfortable and clean with plenty of space, the kitchen was great and we appreciated the coffee bar and pans for cooking. The living room is a fun place to chill and the condo is super close to the pool and tennis courts and the beach! Vincent was friendly and easy to communicate with and check in and check out was very easy. Hoping to stay again in the future!

Great location, great stay. Beautiful and comfortable space. Worked well for our family of 4. The third bedroom felt a little far away to have our littlest stay in alone but thankfully the second bedroom had a large bed for both kids. Wagon and chairs provided were great for the beach.

Bird’s Eye View was a beautiful and serene place for my family’s vacation. Spacious, clean, comfortable and close to all the great things Cambria has to offer. Their pet-friendly policies (and town!) made it easy for us to include our pups in this wonderful vacation and we all had a great time. Breen was quick to respond to all my questions and was friendly and helpful. I highly recommend this host and rental! If you’re looking for a great place to get away from it all, you’ve found it. Sarah's place was such a vibe! Could see the ocean's view in the backyard, and very near to the beach if you want to take a stroll. Also well located with Safeway just 5 mins away. About 30 mins to SF, and 20 mins to Half Moon Bay. Quiet neighborhood which was great for us.

Loved our stay and the proximity to the beach was the best. 5 min walk and beach was great. House was clean and comfortable. Kitchen was great to cook in and bbq too. Highly recommend. Loved our time in Monterey exploring Pacific Grove and Carmel and pebble beach.

The house is absolutely amazing. It’s a short drive to restaurants and shops. The walk to the beach is only a couple of minutes. The ambiance of the house is warm and cozy. So many amenities were available including the indoor fireplace, the outdoor grill and fire pit, as well as bikes for the family. The outdoor space is perfect for dining. Even though it was a bit cold, the outdoor heater made it warm enough to stay outside at night. The host was extremely helpful and welcoming. Absolutely loved the house and we really hope to come again.

This was the perfect house for our family. The bedrooms were spacious and the beds comfy. The living room on the top floor had amazing views of the ocean. Would highly recommend for a family getaway.

Both Jaleh and the location were pretty awesome! We arrived to find that the access information needed some assistance. Jaleh was on it within seconds…literally. When we had questions she was completely responsive. The location was nothing short of a once in a lifetime experience. Great memories made for everyone in our family.

A dream beach house ! we had so much fun at the house on the beach and all over pismo. Ideal beach house that you can tell was very loved with lots of character.

We had a wonderful time celebrating my bachelorette weekend at the house. It was spacious, comfortable, and welcoming. The house was well-stocked with plenty of towels and kitchen supplies. Our group of 8 enjoyed the amenities, especially the big couch! The host was nice and communicative. I would definitely stay again!

Wonderful space! Comfy, charming, well appointed, clean. Specifically, an extremely comfortable bed. Perfect for a single person or couple, with walking distance to the beach. Andrew and Teyara were flexible and communicative. We’d definitely come back!
