Fitness-friendly vacation rentals in Big Sur

Clean and organized. Had everything I needed to cook which is very important to me. Will stay again next time I’m in town.

We loved our stay in Carmel. The location was perfect and the apartment exceeded expectations - it was really thoughtfully put together and gave us so much space. It was super clean, had everything we needed and was really comfortable. Russell was a great host, really friendly and thoughtful with helpful recommendations which were great. Welcoming and always available whilst also giving us all the space and peace we wanted. We would be so happy to return here and highly recommend this as the perfect base for visiting Carmel, Monterey and all the lovely places nearby.

We had a great time! We’re natives returning for a work visit, and this is a great location. Aubrey gave detailed instructions so check in was a breeze. The place was lovely and very clean. We had everything we needed for a week stay and even cooked regularly. I would definitely recommend!

I was very pleased with our accommodations. We originally had booked to stay at one of their properties in Elon Menlo and we were asked if we would mind switching to Anton Menlo to accommodate a guest who wanted to stay longer. Synergy made sure that we had the same type of accommodation we had originally booked for the same price and everything was perfect. We were still very near our son and daughter-in-law, who live in Elon Menlo. The apartment was very spacious and well appointed. We had a wonderful trip!!!

Great location on Santana Row with cafes and restaurants within a short walk. We only used the kitchen for breakfast. It was suitable for other meals, too. The two BRs and two BAs were useful. Note that the 3rd bed is upstairs next to the master. We enjoyed relaxing on the couch and watching TV.

Our family of 5 enjoyed our stay. Well equipped kitchen and it was fun to spend some time enjoying the view.

Booked this place last minute. It was a great stay for a decent price especially compared to the area. Lots of parking options - plenty of street parking so you don’t need to use the garage at all unless you’re there all day. (Street parking is 2 hour limit from 9 AM-6PM, but didn’t look like it was enforced) The building was very clean and felt very safe. The train is conveniently located and the noise really wasn’t that bad. I’m a super light sleeper and it didn’t really disturb me. Plus Locale provided ear plugs and a white noise machine. The amenities were nice new and pristine. I didn’t see many residents in the building so I assume this is used as short term corporate housing and short term rentals only. The area is nice with restaurants and coffee shops in walking distance. The unit was clean and modern. Great place if you are visiting Stanford etc would stay here again

Coming from Alaska, Diana did a wonderful job! Especially with communication. This is my second time staying here, I just had to come back! Love the area, quiet and safe. Walking distance from Safeway, beautiful amenities, for sure enjoyed the pool! The pictures doesn’t do its justice for how truly beautiful the ambience is. Through and through looking forward to returning! Thank you greatly Diana !!

I had an incredible experience staying at Kitty’s place! The home was cozy, and the location was perfect. The host was super responsive and went above and beyond to make sure I had everything I needed. I wouldn’t hesitate to book this place again. Thank you for a fantastic stay!

Great host- from the time we booked the Airbnb until the time we signed out (and after), Kwesi was always available, and genuinely interested in how we were doing G, what else we might need, etc. Great place- clean, quiet, beautiful, nice location.

Great place, comfy, and felt like a home. The location was easily accessible to major roadways which made driving very easy. With a host who was very responsive and clear, there was nothing else that I would ask for out of a vacation stay.

It was great place to stay, clean, comfortable bed, and very relaxing. My family had a wonderful time and highly recommend anyone planning to visit Avila beach!

Wonderful stay on Santana Row. The location can’t be beat. Steps away from restaurants and shopping. Plenty of space for the entire family. The outdoor space was a lovely place to relax and enjoy the beautiful weather. We’ll definitely be back!

Ryan is a great host answered all of our questions, addressed our requests/needs promptly. A neat safe place near shopping and close to Stanford university met our goal of staying in the area.

Highly recommend this condo located at Rivermark. Great and safe place for family stay! We enjoy the bed and had sound sleep. The host is so responsive and solved out kettle problem quickly. Definitely the to-go choice for stay in Santa Clara/San Jose.

Great house. A little far from Monterey (about 42 minutes) but we had a great time none the less. Big home, room for lots of people, extra bedding and blankets and the kids loved the outside area. The fire pit was relaxing and enjoyable and having the washer and dryer was nice. Charles was very responsive and we appreciated the hospitality.

We had wonderful stay at this location. the house was spacious and good parking space. Just be cautious to not drop anything on the floor as we noticed group of ants at some places.

amazing stay! Everything was and felt extremely clean, zero clutter and just exactly what you need no more no less. We were in town for a wedding so we just needed something simple and affordable it served the purpose and was an amazing value! I would recommend to anyone looking to stay in the area :) Host was very responsive as well and super clear instructions not complicated at all. Would stay again.

While I did not need a four BR house, being in the area for business for two+ weeks meant that I was able to feel at home, including use of an office with large monitor. I love to cook and can say there was not a single utensil or appliance that was lacking. With a choice of gas or charcoal, I truly got a chance to make food superior to what I would have to eat at a restaurant if I stay in a hotel. Tone was super cooperative and responsive, so his will be the first place I will look for on my quarterly trips to the area.

The house is decorated with taste, comfortable, and has a toto washlet. The kitchen was well equipped with sharp knives! The peloton bike and yoga mat are fantastic. The house is much smaller than it looks on pictures but it is kind of usual with airbnb. other than that pictures are accurately describing the place.

My family and I had a wonderful stay at Michael’s house in SLO. The location was walkable to downtown and easy restaurants nearby. We appreciated the careful details from snacks and wine upon arrival to fresh eggs and cold water in the fridge. We ended up making more meals than planned because the kitchen was so well-stocked and nice! Our kids had a blast with the toys in the spare room. The house had everything we needed and we’ll definitely be back!

We stayed at Sara's while visiting family nearby, but her home felt like a vacation in itself. The backyard is magical - we spent a fair amount of time there, swimming, grilling/dining, reading/napping. The backyard (and its myriad diversions) even lured our tech-obsessed teenagers away from their devices for extended periods. Everything was well maintained, no detail overlooked. We also enjoyed the access to a peloton bike and workout equipment. The interior was clean, organized, stylish but comfortable. The sunroom and small courtyard off of the bedrooms were great for yoga or stealing a quiet moment with a cup of coffee or book. Sara was responsive and attentive. Instruction booklet was clear and helpful. The stay exceeded our expectations. We hope to be back.

It was a pleasure staying at Michael and Eleanor's place! From the early check-in they worked on us with to great home everything was perfect. With all the great restaurants around, the home gym was a perfect way to start the day and have guilty free meals! Strongly recommend this home if you're looking for a great place to stay.
