Kellys place was perfect for our family. The location is close to many of the areas local attractions and the peaceful tranquility of the deck and watching so many species of birds in the yard was incredible! We would stay here again.

This beautiful home was nestled into beautiful surroundings. The home has floor to ceiling windows with vast views of the wonderful landscaping and surrounding hillside. The host was very responsive to our needs. The gardener was very kind and helpful. The garden was full of lush produce that we were allowed to help ourselves to. There are trails behind the home which led to a beautiful little waterfall. I highly recommend this home for your stay.

Una gran opción para fin de semana! La casa es muy bonita y acogedora. Está muy bien distribuida, lo que hace que cada estancia sea muy cómoda. La casa la encontramos muy limpia y organizada y no le faltaba absolutamente nada. Paños, platos, cubiertos, papel higiénico, buen internet… Lo que dice la descripción de la casa, lo cumple a cabalidad. El acceso fue fácil y muy seguro. El balcón con banca y mesa frente a la casa tiene una vista hacia las torres eólicas, y es ideal para fotos y videos. Como llegamos en medio de un frente frío, nos dimos cuenta de que la casa aísla muy bien contra el frío y el viento que fueron bastantes fuertes las dos noches de estadía. Karina nos dejó la casa lista y se aseguró de que estuviéramos a gusto. Si hace falta comprar algún comestible, el centro de Tilarán está cerca y tiene de todo a mano. Las vistas en el pueblo también son impresionantes por la cercanía de las torres eólicas. Definitivamente volvería nuevamente si estoy por la zona.

Our family has a wonderful stay at Ulfran’s! Ulfran cut down coconuts for our family and taught us how to open them. The property is beautiful and filled with birds and monkeys. We loved being woken up by howler monkeys every morning! The location was very close to many activities… Sloth’s paradise down the road was the highlight of our trip! We saw frogs, eyelash viper snakes and sloths up close and in their natural habitat (not a zoo or caged area - completely natural).

We wanted a place closer to the Liberia airport. Casa Azul is an adorable home in a safe neighborhood. Arturo provided clear and easy instructions. The home is well equipped. We enjoyed sitting on the front porch in the evening.

This was a spacious house and well worth it for the price! My girls were looking forward to the fruit trees but the garden doesn’t seem to be in its former glory. The location is very close to lots of fun tours and excursions! Adolfo was very communicative and responsive.

The only thing I regret about my stay at Albita’s place is that it wasn’t longer. In short, it’s a little gem of a house with the most stunning sunsets you can imagine. Being greeted with a rainbow in the morning and having coffee on the deck as you watch the clouds move around the mountains is sublime. Albita is a fantastic host: generous, responsive and extremely helpful. And Santa Elena is a cool little mountain town. Bon Appetit! and the Monteverde Brewing Company are great dining options close by.

Wow fantastisk flot sted. Virkelig flot udsigt fra køkken, stue og terrassen. Vi kunne ikke blive færdige med at kigge udover landskabet. Lækre værelser og faciliteter. Dejligt med køkken hvor man selv kunne lave mad. Sybil er sød og imødekommende og svarer hurtigt på spørgsmål. Alt i alt en perfekt base for vores 3 dage i Monteverde.

We spent four amazing days at Venado Valley Ranch. From the very beginning, we felt at home thanks to the warm welcome from Sandra. There is so much to do and experience here. Our children, aged 9 and 11, were constantly entertained by all the animals and activities. Ronald guided us on a beautiful tour through the river to the waterfall, where we had a wonderful swim at this unique spot. The horseback ride with the whole family through the mountains was fantastic. Milking the cows and making sugarcane juice were also great experiences. Breakfast and dinner were prepared by Damaris – what delicious meals she made! We truly enjoyed every bite. The accommodation itself is really special. Our kids even had their own room, where Smokey the house cat came to keep them company. They said these were the best days of the entire vacation. But beyond the location, it’s the people who made it truly special. Thank you so much for taking such good care of us, Sandra, Ronald, and Damaris!

Brad has thought of everything!! Incredible place to stay, highly recommend for stunning views, some R+R and even some local wildlife. Great deal at the brewery next door for breakfast, some puzzles in the house and a well-stocked kitchen really stood out. You won’t regret staying here.

Un hospedaje muy agradable, muy limpio,bastante equipado, camas cómodas, paños limpios, hay algunos objetos para estar en la piscina. Si hay 2 pulpería y unos restaurantes cerca, sin embargo,son MUY básicos y recomendable traer ya todo lo necesario. El anfitrión fue muy atento y muy amable. Sin duda si queremos volver.

Perfect launch point for our family visit to Costa Rica. We loved our stay here - clean, beautiful home, landscape, location, and incredibly cozy for our family of four. It was a great location to explore the area.

Belle vue sur le volcan Arenal. Gentillesse de l’hôte et informations claires. Le logement a déjà plusieurs années et davantage d’ustensiles pour cuisiner (tasses, couverts pour tout le monde) seraient bienvenus. Ceci dit, un bon rapport qualité-prix proche de nombreuses activités.

El lugar tiene una vista espectacular, ideal para familias grandes y la casa es muy accesible para silla de ruedas. Hay mucho espacio en toda la propiedad y la limpieza de la casa espectacular. La cocina tenia todo lo necesario para cocinar. No hay supermercados cerca por lo que es recomendable hacer compras antes de llegar al lugar. Definitivamente volvería.

El anfitrión muy amable, el alojamiento es hermoso, superó mis expectativas en todos los aspectos. Sin duda volveremos!

J’ai beaucoup aimé mon séjour à la casita. C’est rudimentaire mais fidèle à la description. Ça été un lieu de ressourcement pour moi. Le lieu est un peu compliqué à trouver: il faut se rendre proche avec les coordonnés GPS puis suivre les indications des hôtes indiqués dans les spécifications et alors: il n’y aura pas de problème. J’ai passé un superbe moment avec Andy et Angy: j’ai même soupé avec eux et ils ont été très accueillants. Le déjeuner était exquis et j’ai dégusté avec plaisir leurs produits faits maison et ce qu’ils cultivent avec passion. Ils m’ont fait d’excellents suggestions d’itinéraire et j’ai pu découvrir des routes fabuleuses et un endroit où me baigner dans l’eau turquoise. C’était magique. Je recommande +++ cet endroit pour y séjourner. Le seul hic est l’absence de wifi et l’absence de réseau à la casita. il faut être dans leur maison pour y avoir accès avec le wifi. Cela aide au ressourcement et à déconnecter par contre 😊. Je pouvais venir quand je voulais.

This was the perfect spot to be able to get around the Arenal and surrounding area. If you’re looking to have a centralized home base that you can travel to many attractions from, this is a great spot. Petra and her husband Rudi were very accommodating. Petra messaged us daily to make sure we were doing alright and to suggest places to go. The home itself was spotless and comfortable. My wife and I enjoyed drinking our coffee on the porch and watching the nearby animals (cows, egrets, toucans, and geckos.) We would highly recommend this spot and the hosts to anyone visiting the area. Pura Vida!!

Mabel ist eine wundervolle Gastgeberin und man bekommt sogar ein Frühstück! Das Apartment ist mit viel Liebe eingerichtet und man hat einen schönen Ausblick in die Natur.

Es una cabaña preciosa, muy tradicional en una finca de ganado. El lugar es super tranquilo, fresco, con muchas facilidades cerca (restaurantes, supermercados, gasolinera, etc) y el host y su familia super atentos

We really loved this Airbnb. The small casita was very comfortable, had great views, friendly animals that came to say hello regularly and was close to lots of activities near the lake and town. The space felt clean, super safe, and homey. We will definitely book again, our favorite place near the lake so far!!

Charles was a great host. He checked in several times to be sure all was going well. The apartment was an easy walk to town. There are four other apartments in the building and all the other residents are long-term renters. They were friendly and helpful. The back porch had a beautiful view of the lake framed by rainforest vegetation. There is a side-benefit, too ... there is a wonderful restaurant right on the property. Don't miss having lunch or dinner there. I would rent there again.

Ana was an amazing host who was very responsive and helpful. She was welcoming, and the place was clean and as described. Would highly recommend staying here. Everything was clean, well maintained, and in a beautiful area. Host was extremely helpful and made us feel at home.
