This is an excellent place to stay if you are in that region. Beautiful and quiet surroundings, and the host sent us a long list of local recommendations which were quite handy. The place itself is exactly as described, with all amenities available for a self-catered stay. There was a wide variety of breakfast supplies kept in the kitchen (bread, eggs, yogurt, milk, fruits, jams,... the list is long), even taking our food preferences into account. Dedicated parking space available in front of the door. Highly recommended and would love to come back again.

We really loved staying at Conkers. The flat is charming, comfortable, very well-appointed and private with access to a lovely bit of garden space outside. It's a pleasant 15 minute walk along footpaths to Avebury and there are many other great places and walks to explore close by in this beautiful part of the world. Linda is a brilliant host and really went above and beyond to ensure we enjoyed our stay. She was super helpful with check-in and check-out arrangements, took delivery of our grocery order so it was waiting for us in the kitchen when we arrived, and even came up with a plan to feed us had Sunday's lunchtime power cut continued into the evening. Such thoughtfulness and care were very much appreciated and we would be very happy to stay at Conkers again.

We were a family group of five adults with one small dog and stayed for 10 nights. The Barn was a perfect place to stay and had everything we needed. The decor is very stylish and we immediately felt at home. The outdoor space for the dog was secure and there was direct access to beautiful countryside for walks and the Kennet and Avon canal is only 10 mins walk away. The younger members of the party also made use of the tennis court. The location is rural but you are not far from Devizes for shopping. We all had a great time.
