The place was perfect, just as described. We didn't get the code for the lockbox, but when I reached out to Chelsea, she was on it within minutes. Also gave us a great recommendation for dinner at Saw Shop. Thanks, Chelsea!

The house is beautifully decorated, with many thoughtful comforts, though we had to rearrange rugs and chairs to accommodate my husband safely, who uses a walker; for example, the loveseat slides on the floor when it is leaned on unless its legs are on a rug. A chair in the bedroom for getting dressed would be helpful. And the bedroom window air conditioner was in need of a hygienic cleaning, as we could see dirt and/or mold inside, and chose not to turn it on. The A/C in the living room was fine after I wiped the dust out (our visit was at the beginning of May, and perhaps this annual cleaning had not been done yet). The yard and garden are exquisitely landscaped, with pleasant, private outdoor living areas.

We’ve always wanted to stay in a tiny home surrounded by nature, and this was the perfect “glamping” experience for us to recharge from our busy lives. The modern tiny home felt surprisingly luxurious, with all the thoughtful details that made it feel like home. Sitting outside by the fire table, listening to the sounds of nature, was incredibly peaceful. The private beach access was a highlight—we can’t wait to come back in the summer to spend more time kayaking and fishing. We also enjoyed a beautiful hike at Lake Mendocino, just 25 minutes away. One evening, we treated ourselves to an all-you-can-eat crab dinner at Running Creek Casino, only 2 minutes from the property, and had a fun night afterward. On our way back to Sacramento, we stopped for wine tasting at Brassfield Estate in Clearlake, which was a wonderful experience. This is a perfect getaway—whether you’re looking to relax or explore—and just a short, scenic 3-hour drive from home. We’re already looking forward to revisit
