This vacation home has recently been completely renovated and is therefore equipped with every comfort. The house has a lovely spacious garden with lots of privacy and parking space. Inside, you can enjoy a warm bath or light the wood stove comfortably. The forest and two natural swimming lakes are less than 10 minutes' walk away, where you can enjoy hiking, mountain biking and swimming. Since the cottage is on a cozy campsite (De Lente van Drenthe), there are many amenities just around the corner.

Directly on the forest and many hiking routes in the area. Also a swimming lake just around the corner. We have nicely furnished our cottage with care and has equipped it with all the comforts. A kitchen with all appliances; dishwasher, combi oven and coffee machine. Outside lovely furniture to fully enjoy nature, the garden is completely fenced with greenery and you can hear the birds chirping there all day. There is good Wi-Fi available so also a great base for a workation (work vacation).

Welkom in het bosrijke Exloo, gelegen op de Hondsrug in Drenthe. Wij wonen zelf in het monumentale treinstation van Exloo uit 1903, aan de NOLS spoorlijn, van Zwolle tot Delfzijl. deze spoorlijn is opgericht in 1899 en opgeheven in 1945. Deze spoorlijn is nu een mooi wandelpad! Naast ons huis staat een geheel vrijstaande en gloednieuw gerenoveerde woning van 2 verdiepingen met genoeg privacy en eigen ingang voor max. 6 pers. Er is gratis parkeerruimte, en een eigen terras in gehele privacy.

In the area, the Hunebedcentrum in Borger and the historic fortified town of Bourtange are highly recommended. Perfect for a relaxing stay with plenty of opportunities to explore the area, by bike or by car!

The apartment is located between monumental thatched farms in old Valthe, a small esdorp on the Hondsrug, Around Valthe there are forests, fields, heathlands, country lanes, fens, burial hills and dolmens. Many cycling and walking routes run through Valthe which give access to a widespread network through Drenthe and surrounding provinces. 1 child up to 4 years old can stay in the parents' room. On request a crib/cot can be placed.

Cozy cozy holiday house in the beautiful Hondsrugdorp Valthe in Drenthe. The house is surrounded by a large garden and offers a lot of privacy. In 2020, the house has been fully modernized with all the comforts. In the vicinity you can walk and bike beautifully. Other points of interest in the area include WILDLANDS in Emmen (6km), Golfpark Exloo (9/18 holes ) (2km), museum village Orvelte and the Hunebedcentrum in Borger.

The holiday home is located at the end of a lane, against a forest edge, so you have a lot of privacy. From the vacation home, you can walk almost immediately into nature. Within a few moments you are in the middle of forest, moors and drifting sands. Nearby, you can cycle and walk endlessly, but there is of course plenty more to do.
