Monthly Rentals in Borley

This was a well needed break for myself and my husband. Ann and Steve are so lovely, giving us a warm welcome and a lovely goodie box. Our pups loved the garden and had a great time running about with their dogs. Walks were plentiful and the sunshine was welcome. We took the short walk to the village hall where enjoyed the beer festival. We took our own airfryer and had a food delivery which all worked really well. So much so we have booked a return visit for next year. A perfect quiet haven which remains in character and true of the old black smith cottage. We had a lovely stay at Primrose Cottage whilst visiting family. The cottage was very clean and tidy and well decorated. We had our 9 month old and dog with us and felt really comfortable there. There’s no dedicated parking but that wasn’t a problem as there was lots of on street parking available. We found a lovely walk called The Gainsborough Trail just over the road which was ideal for walking our dog! Would definitely stay here again

We had a lovely stay at Chestnut Terrace over Christmas. The house made our Christmas special after a hectic few months refurbishing our house. It was lovely and cosy and more than big enough for my family. I even managed to whip up a big roast dinner in the little (but very well equipped) kitchen. The hosts left a very generous welcome basket including a bottle of Prosecco! It was beautifully decorated for Christmas. We went on walks with the dogs in the lovely surroundings. The garden was lovely too, if not a tad confusing for the dogs given the public walkway in between the houses. We were grateful that the garden is fenced off and secured with a gate in spite of this. We had a wonderful time and will recommend to our friends and family. Thank you
