WELCOME to a stay in our beautiful apartment, which is located in the amazing nature, right up the forest and with several lakes in the area - including a short distance to Østre Søbad, where you can swim all year round. There's also a sauna in connection with the lake. We live in the middle of Søhøjlandet and have a 10-minute drive to Silkeborg city center. There are 2 km to Pizzaria and shopping in Virklund. There is wifi in the house, but no TV as we invite you to peace and good nature experiences. There is underfloor heating throughout the home.

There are board games, books and drawing materials that can be freely used. Small kitchenette with microwave, no hotplates. 3/4 bed 140x 195 with Tempur roll mattress. Here is peace and quiet and the opportunity for walking or cycling in forests and lakes. Nørre Snede is just a 25-40 minute drive from Legoland, Silkeborg, Horsens and Herning. Cozy annex in the woods

The small yellow annex is located in the middle of the beautiful countryside. It is quiet here and the deer graze happily in the garden when the day wakes up. The wood stove is nice in the old house, and from the loft there is a view of meadows and fields. In the main house, Philip, Helene, Asger (4) and Axel (2) live together with our two happy dogs (female). There are 2 km to Bryrup, where the lake, tennis courts or the old veteran course can entertain. Double bed upstairs and sofa bed downstairs. 1 large room.

If you want to experience Denmark from its beautiful and quiet side, then “Vidkærhøj” is the place for you. The home is part of our property from the 1870s, and was originally an old barn, which we have lovingly restored over the past few years. It is centrally located between Aarhus, Silkeborg and Skanderborg. It is high up here, and if you like, our dog, Aggie, would love to greet you, just as our cats, chickens and rooster are also very curious. We can’t wait to host you 🤗

Cabin to the nature lovers

Experience nature close to Rørbæk lake, at the Jutland ridge, (30 min. walk from the cabin), springs Denmark's two largest rivers, Gudenåen and Skjernåen, with only a few hundred meters distance and runs in different directions towards the sea(10 min. walk from the cabin) In the same place, Hærvejen crosses the river valley. Wake up every day with different birdsong. From Billund airport by bus it is about 2 hours to the cabin We hope you enjoy the area as much as we do!

Welcome to our cozy one room apartment in the countryside. The apartment is located in a separate annex in connection with our house (we have two apartments in the same annex). So you have your own place with a fully equiped kitchen, a bathroom, a terrace and a small green space. The terrace and the green space is shared with the other apartment in the annex. The cottage is the perfect retreat for those of you looking for a relaxing break close to the beautiful nature.
