It’s a very cozy, colorful and relaxing space set in the very heart of Sansepolcro. On the second floor of a beautiful historical building with terrace access and great views over the town roofs. Renovated and modern style combined with authentic Tuscan renaissance architecture.
“It is one of the most beautiful, complete and cheap apartments I have stayed in! Truly a beauty, all new, clean, with excellent location, breakfast and view. Serena also helped us by delaying the reservation when we had a problem with the car and then her aunt Luisa (who received us) also came to help us immediately when we were locked out of the apartment by accident. SUPER RECOMMENDED !!!”
This ex-farmhouse, unreachable by car, lies within one of the largest areas of uninterrupted and most beautiful forests in Europe. Solar power, fresh spring water, wood-fired ovens and the bumpy road offer an authentic off-the-grid experience for travelers looking to go into the wild. It's the perfect place to take a break from urban life and have a digital detox. Hike to the monastery of St.Francis and the sacred forests of La Verna and visit the hidden gems of the Casentino.
“We were with two people and had the whole house for ourselves. Although the house is located in the national park and needs some walk to arrive, infrastructurally, it had everything that we needed: solar energy for hot water, lights, WLAN, more than sufficient water supply. The rooms were large (for winter times equipped with wood stoves), the house has two toilets, a bath room with shower plus showers outside, also a well equipped kitchen. The house is located in the heart of the Casentine Woods, 90 minutes walk to La Verna. Also other walks are lovely and easily accessible - path 054 passes by the house. We used the house as starting point for walks through the National Park and for recreational in-between days. The surroundings and the view are extraordinary. Sophie and George are wonderful hosts. They helped us with food supply as we did not have a car. We could also buy salad from Sophie´s own garden and home-baked sour dough bread (great taste!) and take part in a pizza-dough/ wood-stove experience. We are very glad and grateful that we had the possibility to stay in this house and to meet Sophie and George.”

“Wonderful stay, we had a great time. Carla and Francesco hosted us with kindness and affection that they reserve for their loved ones, yet we had never seen each other before. The bus had left us in the motorway service station, they came to pick us up and on their return they accompanied us to a more comfortable country to leave. In the middle of the week we even received a very pleasant invitation to lunch. In short, the best you can ask for hospitality!”
