Stroll to dinner in 5 minutes on foot. The house is situated on a big lot with an enjoyable backyard. After a good day on your bike or hiking, enjoy the evening grilling under the lights or relaxing by the fire pit. From Brevard you can easily access Pisgah National Forest, Dupont State Forest or Asheville!

From the Hart Farm: Pisgah Room (Room #1 of 2)

My farm is 8 miles from Brevard and a 45 min. drive to downtown Asheville. I am nestled between Pisgah National Forest and Dupont State Forest, which means unlimited hiking, waterfalls, swimming, kayaking and fishing. Cyclers will enjoy being on one of the many routes, while mountain bikers can enjoy forest trails and challenge themselves to the Oskar Blues Reeb Ranch. Equestrian folks can avail themselves to our local horse boarders and ride in both forests. There is something for everyone!

Reconnect with nature in this off grid wild mountain setting. 4 wheel drive or all wheel drive access only. AWD SUBARUS get up just fine! Steep gravel road. There is 2 wheel drive parking space available with a steep 1/2 mile hike to the cabin. If we are close by we could arrange a shuttle… Bring your own sheets, pillow cases and towels. Queen size and twin size for the bunk beds. We provide Pillows and lightweight comforter for you. Weddings available for an EXTRA CHARGE. See below.

This cabin is 1 of 2 on our property. This is the closest rental property to Dupont State Park at only a quarter of a mile from the entrance. Our cabin is located 15 minutes from downtown Brevard and 20 minutes from downtown Hendersonville which both offer lots of local shops and dinning. This cabin is located within a mile to downtown Brevard, yet you feel like you are out in the country. There is a beautiful mountain and pasture view off the back porch and a barn nearby. There is a house on either side, but there are fences in between for privacy. Sit on the back porch and watch the Scottish Highland cattle graze while you enjoy a cup of coffee or a glass of wine.
