Ideal rural retreat for anyone and everyone! This cosy wooden cabin is a simply lovely place to stop and unwind. Set near to a small Sussex village with direct access onto the South Downs, Iford is on the wild fringes of historic Lewes (2 miles), vibrant Brighton (7 miles) and Newhaven ferry and beach (6 miles). Situated in the shadow of the South Downs National Park on a small rural road with hardly any neighbours our charming cottage is a great place from which to explore the unspoiled open countryside and its many footpaths around us. The nearest street light is two miles away. Owls, deer and the occasional nightingale are the only sounds in the middle of the night The cottage décor is fresh and modern with plenty of parking and a small decking area. A true home-away-from-home, the heart of it is the expansive kitchen and open living area, where you can unwind on plush sofas surrounded by cozy throws. It's the perfect space to relax and whip up a meal after a day of exploration. Tucked away at the back of the flat, the bedrooms offer a quiet and tranquil retreat. The natural colours and calming hues create a peaceful ambience, ensuring a restful stay.

The Hut in the Paddock - VERY DOG FRIENDLY!!

The Hut is in a completely private and securely fenced paddock. It has a double bed, under floor heating, television, outdoor shower, wifi. There is a kitchen, shower room and sitting room with a sofa bed, television/DVD player in the stables. There is also a smaller hut. There are two fire pits and a barbecue. Important - if you are visiting for a party, wedding etc, it is NOT permitted to leave your dog alone in the hut or sitting room while you are away from the paddock.

Ideal location for dog/pram walks/runs/and safe bike rides along the 5km Undercliffs walkway. Good for walking. Local shops and cafes are nearby with specialist greengrocers/deli in Rottindean. Well equipt cooks kitchen. Sun trap back garden with deck surrounding and gas BBQ. Great for family get togethers or groups of friends.
