“Absolutely everything about our stay at Ellen and Jay’s yurt was wonderful. We were expecting it to be cute and fun but it far exceeded all our expectations. It’s incredibly comfortable and cosy, charming and romantic. We had our coffee outside on sunny mornings and enjoyed the warmth of the stove and sound of the rain on the yurt on the couple of rainy evenings we had while enjoying home cooked dinners. Have I mentioned falling asleep under the stars and waking up to the birds, the horses, the views, the peace? This is a truly magical place.”
This is a spacious guesthouse/retreat where you can relax and unwind. There are great views and walking down the road is serene, with open fields bordered by woods and teaming with wildlife. There are guinea fowl and chickens as well as my friendly dog Annie who loves to play.
“My wife and I had an incredible stay here at Ben's property. It's conveniently located between Bristol and Middlebury, and was very close to the parks and hikes we wanted to visit. Ben was so kind and thoughtful, and gave us personalized and local tips about parks to visit, places to eat, particular hikes that fit our wants, and anything else we needed. He was thorough with check in and check out, and no detail was missed. The property is stunning. The loft itself is gorgeous and cozy, but the farmland is bountiful and so peaceful to stay at. Ben was kind enough to even give us fresh produce from his gardens to enjoy; it was delicious! We had the best long weekend, and feel so grateful that Ben was such a kind and gracious host. We can't wait to visit again, and we cannot recommend staying with him enough.”
Bristol BNB is located in a working artist's home on a quiet street, one block from town. Located on the second floor, with bedrooms, hall kitchenette, and a full bath. A side porch is included, accessed from the private front entrance. The space is welcoming, quiet, and cozy. Bristol offers great restaurants, a bookshop, gallery, coffee shops and New England charm. Skiing, hiking and swimming holes nearby. Host available for assistance on site or by text. Vermont charm and comfort.
“great little two bedroom in the heart of Bristol! excellent check in, response time, and hospitality. close to good skiing and the place was nicely equipped for a ski weekend (close to sugarbush and mad river glen) considering there are great restaurants nearby in town that are all within walking distance. Deborah is a great host and her watercolor art is incredible. if you decide to stay here you will not be disappointed!”
