Very nice place to stay. The view from the back yard is priceless and is very relaxing .She has everything there to make for a nice evening outside ,patio lights, firepit ,lite up dock and picnic table right on the water. Inside is very clean and cozy and is not lacking for anything that you might need .This is not a place that you want to make any excessive noise as there is another residence right above you.

I cannot say enough about this wonderful cabin. The hosts were amazingly responsive. We got into the cottage early. They left us a goodie packet and salt water taffy! Very comfy bed. Two great decks. Quiet location and not far from Peggy’s Cove. Highly recommend the coastal drive between Peggy’s cove and Lunenburg. We were very happy with our stay.

We were lucky to stay at Jeff and Crystal’s place for a month with our family of five. We enjoyed the proximity to Halifax’s attractions, both by car and public transit. Walkable to grocery stores, parks, a pool, the ferry, libraries and so much more. We felt right at home with a spacious and well-stocked kitchen, enough bedrooms for the entire family to have their own space, great cable package and two full bathrooms. Whenever we had a question, we got a prompt reply. Would highly recommend!!!

The loft on Hatchet Lake was perfect for my six-week stay as a solo traveler. This well-appointed one-room loft, situated above a garage, is part of a small community of six cabins. The kitchen is well-equipped, and the bed is very comfortable. The Wi-Fi is excellent, making it ideal for remote work. Hatchet Lake is right in front of the loft and perfect for swimming. The shower is a bit snug for larger people, but the water pressure is great. Thanks, Mike! I really enjoyed my stay.
