We had a wonderful time. The place was comfortable, spacious, beautiful, private and modern. Kitchen had all utensils needed. We were able to see and heard birds, and monkeys. The best was a little walking distance from a peaceful, beautiful beach. Cinzia, was quick to respond and answered all our questions, so kind and helpful. Pudimos ver y oír pájaros y los monos. Lo mejor de todo es que la playa estaba a una distancia muy corta nos íbamos caminando. We absolutely loved staying at Johnny's place! After the first quiet, comfortable night as we lingered over coffee on the patio watching the hummingbirds, we decided to change our plans and stay a little longer. The house is beautiful and has everything you could need provided. We especially loved all the outdoor space and spending evenings watching birds with drinks on the rooftop (we saw Yellow Throated Toucans and Montezuma Oropendola right from the deck!). The beds were very comfortable and the neighborhood was very quiet and peaceful. 15/10 we'll be back!

Our family of 10 had a wonderful time at Casa Alta Vista. The home was very clean and well maintained. Because the house was so beatiful that we ate all of our local fish dinners at home. The kitchen was well appointed and had the oils and spices we needed. Small stuff but it matteres when you are traveling long distances. Can not say enough about the house, the view and the Domenical area. Loved it all.

As others have stated, the pictures really don't do this place justice! You have both a private pool and relaxing balcony, along with a beautiful beach beckoning through the trees. It was the perfect place for our family of five to unwind. Each kid got their own bed upstairs while mom and dad had some privacy downstairs. Gregory was extremely helpful with friendly advice, local recommendations and was even willing to lend us a machete to open up coconuts. Our daughter enjoyed walking down the beach to the surf camps where she took a lesson, although I would recommend some good sandals or water shoes for the pebbled areas that are unavoidable at high tide. I would caution swimmers to be very careful at low tide -- we got caught in a strong current pulling us towards some scary rocks. I'd recommend swimming at high tide or further down the beach. Overall a spectacular stay at a rare find right on the beach. And Gregory was great host.

The house was beautiful and clean and extremely convenient to town. Parking behind two lock gates definitely made us feel secure at night. Carlos was very responsive and provided several wonderful recommendations. Would definitely stay again.

It was the best place to stay near Puerto Viejo! The pool was amazing. Jenny and her family were very kind. Thank you for making our stay more than perfect.

Very unique, charming home with incredible location. The cliff overlooking the water was so private and relaxing. Very secure gated property. We would absolutely rent again.

The place is so beautiful and great location. We stayed only one night because there was a problem with the electricity, but they handled it very well and were super nice. I would love to stay there another time!
