“I have seen a number of reviews about this cabin, the space around it and the amazing individual that hosts it. So many say it is a great place to unplug. They are 150% correct. I have enjoyed this location now for the 9th time. It was my first AirBnB stay almost 4 years ago now. I will be the odd one here and say I actually plug IN when I am there! As a writer I'm always looking for a place to write that inspires me. When I am in this cabin I plug in to the peace and creative energy that makes it so magical! It is truly the best place to go and relax. If you are reading this review I will simply say, GO. The space is wonderful. It will take you back to a simpler time where you will be invited to just sit and relax. Watch the amazing farm around you and enjoy the fresh air and sunshine. Even if you should be so lucky as to not have sunshine and it rain while you are there, the rain on the tin roof is the most amazing sound to drift off to sleep with. There is a new large pond about 50 yards or so away from the cabin now and the frogs are loving it! The chorus at dusk was fantastic! Open the windows and enjoy. I was lucky to get to meet the cutest little flying squirrel during my stay this time. He is living just under the roof and scuttles about sometimes. He does not have keys to the cabin so he cannot get inside. He is adorable and fun to listen to. The outhouse is well stocked and well kept. It is a short distance away. The bed it self is worth the stay! It was delivered by the sandman himself and is guaranteed to lull you to sleep as soon as your head touches the pillow. There is power to the cabin and a 4 plug outlet in the wall by the bed. There is a wonderful ceiling fan, a space heater if needed and an electric kettle to warm water. Bring instant grits or oatmeal to have with your coffee (which is provided. Coffee, tea, sugar creamer packets and fresh well water) in the morning as you sit in one of the 2 wonderful rocking chairs on the front porch. Lunch and/or dinner can be found a short drive into town where there are a NUMBER of wonderful places to eat. I usually bring a small cooler and have cheese and crackers and meat for lunch then hit town for dinner. I HIGHLY recommend staying a few days if for no other reason than to enjoy the outdoor, rain water, heated shower off of the porch of the main house. AMAZING!!! The hostess and the folks that work on her farm are AMAZING! Super knowledgeable and very attentive if you should need anything, just ask. They respect your privacy but are eager to help if needed. If you are looking for a place to unplug from the daily rush and crazy tech, this is your place! I recommend unplugging from your day to day and plug in to the magic that this quiet little cabin offers. Enjoy your visit! :D”

“Everything was as described and we really enjoyed our stay. Jeff's villa is quiet, peaceful, and was the perfect spot for a weekend getaway at the lake. Would book again.”
Our cottage is located on our 10-acre alpaca farm approximately 4 miles from historic Madison, Georgia. We're one hour from Atlanta, 90 minutes from Augusta, and 40 minutes from UGA in Athens.
“We LOVED staying at this alpaca farm!!!! One of the most unique airbnb’s I’ve stayed at, and the guest house itself was so cute and beautifully decorated. It had all the best touches and sweet amenities like coffee & tea supplies! And the alpacas- so fun!! When we got there Karen (accompanied by her rockstar farm dog Cooper) took us into the barn and told us all about the alpacas, their care, and how she uses their coats (called fiber). We were free to walk the property any time and walk up to the fences where the alpacas grazed, which was great because the property and land is gorgeous with luscious green grass, and all the neighbors had beautiful properties with livestock as well. Even the night sky was stunning, you could see so many stars out there. 15/10, an absolutely awesome place to stay!!!”
