“The Old Bakery is a wonderful place to stay. Really cute little village with the beach just down the road and a great pub (The Ship) even closer. A welcome pack including coffee pods, tea, milk, water and lemon cake was a really nice touch, very much appreciated as we arrived on a very wet and windy afternoon. The property is inviting and cosy yet also stylish. From the Nespresso machine to the Dualit kettle to the GHD hairdryer to the Designers Guild linens, attention has been paid to every detail. The property was exceptionally clean with plenty of fluffy towels provided. Caroline was a great host, excellent communication and absolutely lovely in person. We would definitely stay here again.”

“Sandy and Dave were amazing hosts and their home the most affordable stay in the area we could find. Their home is situated on a quaint street in the village, right next to a coastal path leading to Holkham and Wells-next-the-sea. We arrived later than expected late on a Friday evening and had a warm welcome with a hot drink and cake. The room itself was immaculate and had biscuits and water ready for us. Breakfast was provided with an array of choices, freshly cut fruit, homemade bread, cereals, teas and coffee. We were thoroughly spoilt and made full use of what was on offer. On our last morning Sandy kindly made us delicious poached eggs. Sandy and Dave were the right balance of attentive, relaxed, interesting, intelligent couple with great taste in music! After our long walk to Wells, they too were in the town and kindly offered to give us a much appreciated lift back home. We would definitely recommend staying with them as you will be very well looked after. Also if you love nature and need reminding of the abundance of untouched beauty in the English countryside North Norfolk is a must, especially Holkham!!”

Norfolk coast path and peddars way next to house, miles of walking. Good pubs and restaurants, wonderful historic villages.
“The cottage is very comfortable and cozy and the fireplace makes everything more charming. The location is great and very close to the beach. We had great walks there. Philip has always been very helpful and kind and gave us very quick responses anytime. As a suggestion for everything to be even more perfect, it would be good to install a shower in the bathroom. We thank Philip and Ermine for their hospitality and we definitely recommend their space. Lucas & Andrea”
