Lovely barn conversion near Burwash. Spacious, stylish and clean with good facilities like the kitchen and TV. Paul was super friendly and welcoming, with great local tips and even an Easter bunny. Near to great National Trust locations, the cuckoo trail as well as some good restaurants. Bear in mind you’ll need a car to get around! Would definitely stay again!

Fab weekend at Romy’s! The accommodation is lovely and well equipped with all you need. The setting is idyllic!! Enjoyed mornings and evenings sitting outside overlooking stunning countryside views in a very peaceful location. Lots of nice pubs and walks, with plenty of information provided. Romy was very nice and made me and my children feel very welcome. Wonderful host, always responsive and makes you feel right at home. A must for a countryside getaway!

The Byre is in the heart of The Weald and is a perfect bolt hole for exploring the joys of East Sussex and Kent. There are so many places that you can reach within half an hour - beaches to historic gardens and castles, and in April/May the area is at it's most beautiful with bluebells everywhere. The little terrace adjoins a meadow and the view extends over the rolling hills. It has sun from first thing in the morning. I loved sharing my morning tea with the cows and calves who were munching away in the meadow . There are some good walks from the property into the bluebell woods. The Byre was clean and tidy with all the essentials and the bed was very comfortable. Although there is another holiday property adjoined, it has been cleverly fenced and I was not impacted by them at all. It is on a working farm and there are the usual noises one should expect but it was not overwhelming in anyway. Very peaceful in fact! Thank you Ella for letting me extend my stay, it was perfect.

Rented this my parents to stay for 4 nights and they were very pleased with the high standards of everything in the flat! Very clean, tidy and with all amenities needed for the stay. Christy as host is very friendly and easy to communicate with. Can highly recommend this property 😀
