Almost don’t want to say how lovely, as will make it more competitive to book to go back! In a word - glorious! - The gite, gardens and grounds and pool are kept beautifully. Gite was spotless and very well equipped (including lots of goodies on arrival, garden games to use there - kids were very happy - charcoal ready for the bbq etc), huge comfortable beds, and wood fired hot tub to sit and look at the stars. - Stunning surrounding views (endless fields of sunflowers) and lovely shady woods to be walk. - Lots of pretty villages - particularly Aubeterre with its central square and river beach worth the short drive (under 20 mins). We also loved the big river beach at St Aulaye (c.40 mins). - Meg and Mark are kind, fun and knowledgeable hosts who were perfect balance of around and incredibly helpful - but very much left us to just relax and enjoy the gite/pool as our own. - Shopping v easy at local supermarkets, various markets and nearby village shop/butchers. A lovely gite in a wonderful rural location but with good road access for exploring the area. A really well equipped kitchen and as we like to cook when on holiday this was especially appreciated. Nice downstairs space in particular with simply the best woodburner we have seen. Very responsive and friendly relaxed hosts. Recommended all round.

We are delighted with our stay at Nada's, a very warm welcome was given to us. An original house in its rehabilitation tastefully decorated in every detail and with ease. The little plus the sauna in the house a short walk to the pool! Thanks I hope we can come back!

This is certainly a home from home with lots of thoughtful touches. Unfortunately my friend managed to break the door handle within hours of arriving and they were so lovely about it, and fixed it straight away. Very nice people with a gîte that is comfortable, very clean and very well equipped. Thank you.

We were able to spend a weekend with the family in a mill that met our expectations despite exceptionally rainy weather for the season . Comfort and generous interior space were able to replace the lack of sunshine . The bedrooms and bathrooms are very comfortable . Only the kitchen looks a little fair for about fifteen people , especially in bad weather ,but the presence of the 2 large fridges was appreciated . It was a beautiful time . Monique G

We just finished our stay. An amazing stay. A little nest nestled in peaceful and beautiful nature. It is a place that I really recommend for nature lovers, the trees, birdsong and ponds really bring an extraordinary peace. We even managed to catch fish, to our delight. We had a warm welcome, it was a really nice meeting.

We loved our stay here. Beautiful location in rolling countryside, comfortable accomodation with amenities just a short drive away. Our host, Fran was very friendly and responsive. The gite was just lovely. We had a great time and would go back.

What a wonderful place, a little paradise! Wenxi and Laurent gave us a warm welcome, you immediately feel completely at home. The house and garden are incredibly charming, and equipped with everything you need. Our children enjoyed the swimming pool and the sweet pets. Top holiday!
