If you have the chance, you should definitely stay here! It is so welcoming and homey you'll never want to leave. It really is as amazing as the photographs--and the terraced patio area is even better; you can't tell from a picture how bit it truly is! If you do venture out, this spot is in a great location with many things to do in the immediate vicinity. It is also very close to all the SF tourist attractions. The perfect spot for whatever brings you to San Francisco. Wish we could have stayed longer.

Shari's place was very quiet for being in a residential area. The beach was very close and an easy walk and access with her instructions. The backyard has beautiful mature landscaping. We loved to see the hummingbird visit the backyard flowers and side porch fountain. The hot tub was clean and relaxing. Thanks Shari for everything and the welcome cookies!

I brought my mother and 6 year old to stay for a short weekend and we couldn’t have been more pleased with the home and hosts. The home is a lot bigger than I had expected and my daughter was over the moon with the huge selection of toys, including a little electric jeep that she could ride down the street. It is a wonderful family spot and the hosts gave us the best recommendations and were so friendly and welcoming. We made a lovely new friend, Edna the chicken, who followed us up and down the driveway which my kiddo loved. I highly recommend, especially if traveling with little ones!

The neighborhood was friendly and we felt safe with our car inside the wide private driveway and a rolling gate at the end of the driveway. Margaret provided bottled water, which was much appreciated after a long journey. The kitchen was fully equipped with all the utensils and ingredients you would need to cook, including oil, butter, multiple seasonings, sugar, and even rice, noodles, and pasta, just to name some—things you would not buy for just a few days, but are necessary if you chose to eat in. The beds were comfortable and the bathroom was large and well-supplied as well. Will stay again, if in the vicinity.

This was the best airbnb we have ever stayed at. It was such a charming little place and the kids (9, 2, and 6 months) had the best time. The older 2 were so amazed at everything and was happy to be able to play with all the toys around the property. We had everything we needed and more. When our toddler had a little accident outside, Pat and Doris personally came out to check in on us which we greatly appreciated.

We had a great getaway at Wendy’s place! We wanted a quick trip to recharge and this was the perfect place for us. The peacocks were right outside our window! They weren’t noisy and neither were any of her other animals. We took our senior dog with us and even he had a great time with all the smells. The place feels private and we enjoyed looking at the stars at night from the wraparound porch. During the day, we drove to Julian for lunch. Wendy was very friendly & accommodating. We came back home feeling recharged & rested. We’d definitely stay here again!

Mark was a very thoughtful host. Very generous man. He has thought of everything to make your stay amazing. If you talk him into baking for you, hold onto something. What a treat.

My husband and I booked Kelly’s house about a year out planning to spend Valentine’s weekend in this very private cabin in the woods. Upon arrival, we were happy to find that the home looks just like the pictures. It’s a happy mix of modern vintage which, for two 70s babies, sits very well with us. The home was extremely clean and just cozy enough for a weekend for two. Nestled among towering trees, it almost felt like we were staying in a dreamy treehouse. The beds were comfortable; my only criticism is the pillows were a bit flat. When you lay on them, feels like your head goes straight down to the mattress. Maybe I just have a big head. :) Other than that, it was a lovely, lovely stay for our first time in Idyllwild which is the cutest little town.

Everything about Hope's place was just as described. As some have noted there's complimentary breakfast and snack items. Very thoughtful. The bedroom/efficiency was comfy and accomodating, with a lovely deck to take in the sun. There is no cooktop but we didn't need it. Hope was great, easy to communicate with, and interesting too! The location is central, and for us just a few minutes from family. We look forward to staying again!

I had the most wonderful stay at this Airbnb! From the moment I arrived, I felt completely at home. The place itself is beautifully maintained, peaceful, and located in such a serene setting—perfect for a relaxing getaway. But what truly made this stay exceptional was the host Deborah. One of the most adorable people I’ve ever met. Her warm hospitality and genuine care made all the difference, and I left feeling like I had made a new friend. If you’re looking for a place where you can unwind and feel genuinely welcomed, this is the one. I can’t recommend it enough and will definitely be coming back!

Susan and Rich are awesome folks who have a cozy, safe and roomy space for anyone looking to check out yosemite or the surrounding area. They’ve put the B back in AirBnb and offer superb hospitality. You’ll feel right at home immediately.

Everything about the stay was perfect and the homemade treats and ice cream sandwiches at night were such a thoughtful and personal touch. It is clear these hosts take great care and consideration into providing a warm environment for their guests. I can't wait to stay here again!

As long as you read the whole listing then you will know exactly what you’re getting,…only better. The room was clean, the bed was comfortable, Grandma Patree thinks of literally everything. It genuinely was like walking into Grandma’s house, fresh bread and cookies included. Couldn’t have asked for better accommodations for our quick trip home. As others have said, the accommodations are wonderful but the real shining star is the host. We will be back, very soon.

We really enjoyed staying at Kathy’s place, one of our most unforgettable experiences for our California trip. We really enjoyed the breakfast and snacks, the mattress, the yard which is a good stargazing spot at night.

We have had a wonderful family in the US. They are very kind, and we feel at home, like our real home, and it is a place we want to return to. And the breakfasts were also delicious. They listened carefully to us non-native English speakers and it was a wonderful experience for the whole family. Thank you so much!!!!!

Lovely room in quiet, safe semi rural neighborhood with a private entrance. A great place to spend the night while I did a 5 day craft class in Freedom. I would return anytime.

This place is the perfect getaway for a relaxing Joshua Tree vacation. The sauna, cold plunge and hot tub were heavenly! Patricia was very responsive and a wonderful host.

This was a fantastic place to stay—clean, cozy, and just perfect. Anand was always responsive and helpful, making the experience even better. The backyard was a great addition, and the rooms were comfortable and well-maintained. Anand was also kind enough to allow us a late checkout at 1 PM instead of 11, which we really appreciated.
