It was beautiful! Definitely get there before it’s dark or else it could be confusing to get there.

It was perfect for my needs with my dog. Very close to my relatives home, and a nice place to enjoy the evening after my days activities.

A magical escape that is still only 10 min from downtown Santa Barbara! It was cozy and comfortable. Wish we had more time there

We fell in love with this quiet little slice of peacefulness. The house feels secluded but we could still access Doordash and Instacart. The walk to the lake/waterfall is not accessible for the disabled and we weren't allowed to drive there. That was the only major disappointment.

Stayed with the family for a weekend and was amazing! beautiful property, lots to do outside, kayaking on pond was awesome, breakfast was delicious. Ana was super responsive to questions. My kids and I totally want to return!

Our stay at Geoff and Sarah’s yurt was amazing! The location was relaxing and quiet; Outdoor spaces very pleasant and inviting! (Kristin especially loved driving the road from the highway up to the property, and sharing music together one afternoon!! Our hosts were friendly, welcoming, and respectful. We will definitely be back on our next trip!

Loved staying on the ranch! Dom met us at the entrance upon arrival. The yurt was very cute and comfy, and the other tiny cabins looked awesome as well - got the yurt as I was with a friend and it had a bed & couch to sleep apart. AC worked great! It had its own private shower and toilet (composting) and a nice deck to chill on. The on-site store is great if you're in a pinch - on the honor system but found a great pair of swim trunks and my friend got some top ramen. The pool was pretty frigid but it was nice to take a dip - and it's deep, 8ft with a beautiful view of the mountain, and I can only imagine it would be warmer later in the season. The saloon area is pretty cool but we couldn't figure out how to turn the lights on but it was nice to chill there - don't expect an operating bar, the bottles are for decoration - but there is a pool table. There are a few hammocks and swings around the property and plenty of sitting areas to lounge in. Would 100% come back to stay!

10/10 recommend. Beautiful space in a beautiful place. Private and peaceful with a little touch of nature. We saw donkeys, horses, deers, cows on our way up. The yurt had a beautiful view of the night sky. This place was perfectly romantic and our hosts were amazing and super helpful! The hosts even got us a bottle of bubbles for our honeymoon! We had an amazing time and will definitely book again

Third time here! Hopefully not the last! There are more amenities than listed— a microwave, drill, gas firepit, drip coffee machine, two stovetop burners etc

Beautiful place definitely would recommend spending at least 2 nights there. One night did not seem like enough. I can't wait to go back in the summertime.

I proposed to my now fiancé at Mary’s place… An absolute dream getaway for anyone wanting to experience Big Sur. I recommended to several of my friends this exact Airbnb.

Wahida has obviously put so much thought and care into every detail of the yurt and property. The interior is comfortable, clean and beautifully decorated, from the design of the yurt itself to the soft faux fur rugs, the comfortable mattress (firm but not unforgiving), the various levels of lighting available, and the cute throw pillows on the futon couch. The grounds are well cared for, the outdoor kitchen easy to use, and the smell of cedar in the sauna and shower space is lovely. I got to relax reading in the hammock, soak in the hot tub under the stars, and watch the sunrise through the trees from the deck. We enjoyed the space for a romantic weekend away, but would also bring the kids to enjoy the pool. We definitely hope to return!

This was a unique stay that I’ll never forget. I wanted to find a cute getaway to hide from the city for the weekend and I think it would’ve been impossible to get any better stay than this. Pictures: The pictures are a perfect representation of what you’re getting into and it feels super cozy to be there. Sound: Being at the top of a hill means you get absolutely no road noise but a healthy amount of the sounds of nature. Host: From the moment we chose to stay here, Micah was incredibly attentive, friendly, and was about everything you want in a great host. We bumped into him a few times during our time on the refuge and he’s a very pleasant guy to chat with. Lodging: The room itself was great, giving us a glimpse into how you can really intentionally put together a space that feels livable even when tight on square footage. It had everything we needed for our weekend trip. 10/10 definitely coming back to stay at the Ridge House another time with some friends.

Absolutely lovely place. Wish I had discovered it a long time ago! It’s super quiet, and fun, and surrounded by nature. Woke up each morning to the sound of all kinds of birds. Great hosts, great location. Will definitely come back.

WOW! What a place! What an amazing off grid glamping experience! The perfect blend of solitude, beauty, and relaxation. From the sound of wind through the trees, the smell of fresh pine cones in the air during the day to the views of the stars and the warmth of a cozy fire at night, this place had it all. Many thoughtful amenities around every corner. From board games to books or wifi and Netflix, all in the seemingly middle of nowhere. This place won’t disappoint… I highly recommend!

This is a special place. A perfect escape where to slow down immersed in nature. We’ll for sure come back!

Beautiful views! It was a great space to get everyone together with plenty of areas when you want some privacy as well. The yurt was incredible. like an vacation within a vacation. The location was secluded and quiet, but still close to the center of town for activity when you want it.

We enjoyed this excellent cabin in Portola Valley for 3 great nights. It was wonderful place to relax and recharge. Many thanks to the host for helpful information about the cabin and the surrounding area. Thanks a lot!

The perfect trip for families! Second time staying at the ranch and it was just as wonderful as it was the first - except this time we had Albert the camel! All of the animals are amazing, but Albert is just an extraordinary treat! Everything about Rancho Grande is so magical! We love going - the Murads are amazing hosts and the property is heavenly. Thank you making us feel so welcome. Cannot wait to come back!

The location is very private. The home has character and style. Really welcoming. The scenery is picture perfect. When the evening came, the clouds came in real heavy. It became like a mountain high excursion sleeping in the yurt. We literally slept in the clouds that night. It was very peaceful, romantic, and sets your mood into relaxation. Your tension and stress level automatically drop when you walk in the lovable home. It was a pleasure to staying at Lynne’s.
