Rejuvenate in a Magical 30-Foot Yurt in the Woods

JenniferRating, 5 stars19 months ago
Please don't hesitate to book! it will be worth it all plus more. Super clean, magickal, private, beautiful and absolutely stunning yurt. We felt welcomed by the host, as she is kind, easy to communicate with, answered all of our questions and went above and beyond. This was a great place for a group of 5 women and we felt safe and comfortable. We will definitely be back. Beautiful land, swim pools, and very clean compost toilets. All our needs were met. You will not be disappointed! ✨

Savor nature's serenity in our cozy celestial yurt

AlexRating, 5 stars7 months ago
I stayed in the eco cabin and loved every second of it, from the comfortable snug cabin to the nearby river you can plunge in or fall asleep to, to the hammocks and chairs outside to sit in. Belinda was super responsive, she had pre-recorded video walkthroughs of the cabin, and was extremely flexibile and accommodating throughout. would highly recommend or come back to for a relaxing decompression or unplugging retreat!

Ground with the cedar & pine in this spacious yurt

JenniferRating, 5 stars3 months ago
Loved my stay here. It was very peaceful and the host was responsive and on the property. At one point I had a problem with the propane heaters (user error) and she was very quick to help guide me. Definitely recommend and I will be back in the future.

We really loved staying at the yurt! It was a great cozy romantic location perfect for our anniversary - close enough to everything we wanted and remote enough to feel like an escape. Would stay again if we are in the area and highly recommend to anyone with the same destination 🥰

Colfax Yurt Glamping: Pool, Sauna & Hot Tub!

RebeccaRating, 5 stars4 months ago
Wahida has obviously put so much thought and care into every detail of the yurt and property. The interior is comfortable, clean and beautifully decorated, from the design of the yurt itself to the soft faux fur rugs, the comfortable mattress (firm but not unforgiving), the various levels of lighting available, and the cute throw pillows on the futon couch. The grounds are well cared for, the outdoor kitchen easy to use, and the smell of cedar in the sauna and shower space is lovely. I got to relax reading in the hammock, soak in the hot tub under the stars, and watch the sunrise through the trees from the deck. We enjoyed the space for a romantic weekend away, but would also bring the kids to enjoy the pool. We definitely hope to return!

Glamping Off the Grid in a Stunning Yurt

EricRating, 5 stars3 months ago
WOW! What a place! What an amazing off grid glamping experience! The perfect blend of solitude, beauty, and relaxation. From the sound of wind through the trees, the smell of fresh pine cones in the air during the day to the views of the stars and the warmth of a cozy fire at night, this place had it all. Many thoughtful amenities around every corner. From board games to books or wifi and Netflix, all in the seemingly middle of nowhere. This place won’t disappoint… I highly recommend!

The Yurt on the Edge

CelesteRating, 5 stars1 week ago
Beautiful views, comfy bed, incredibly cozy. The outdoor shower was awesome, and just waking up to the view was so special. A few things to note: •The compost toilet was fine, but the structure it’s in is not sealed off from the elements, so if it’s raining or foggy it will be fully wet in there. •The yurt itself is not insulated so make sure you know what weather you’re booking for and plan accordingly. February was very cold, and though there is a space heater provided the nights were chilly •The road to get there is more than a little bumpy. We visited in our Honda civic, and scraped multiple times. So just take it really slow getting there or take a taller vehicle.

Adventure|Hot Tub|Privacy|10-Acres

YaraRating, 5 stars1 week ago
We had a lovely stay at Lisa's place. The location was private and peaceful. We were hoping for snow that weekend, and although it didn't snow, my family and I were able to enjoy the home and nature. I only wished there was some flexibility with the checkout time ( or closer to the standard time as other establishments without having to pay a fee, which would've saved us a little stress in the morning) but otherwise, everything was wonderful!

Bird's Nest Yurt, San Juan Ridge

RobertRating, 5 stars3 weeks ago
Awesome stay. We were intrigued by the Yurt concept and thought we'd give it a go. Wow, we were surprised how cozy and comfortable it was. Love having a live fire in the fireplace and it warmed the place very rapidly. Once the fire died the temp was ideal for sleeping. A bit chilly in the AM, but a rejuvenated fire solved that immediately. Super private location with a gate a winding, scenic driveway with lots of space to park vehicles and two trucks pulling bass boats. We will stay here again, for sure. Great job Judith!

GlenEllenHaven/Petite Pets/HotTub/Yoga Yurt/EvCHGR

KatyRating, 5 stars1 week ago
Veronika's place is fresh and well decorated. The kitchen is well stocked, the bathroom is new and well appointed. It's great for two couple or a friends get together and while the living space isn't large, it has an enormous porch with beautiful view of vines and trees and hills in distance. The outdoor space makes it 2x the size, so be sure to go when you really can enjoy the nice weather. Veronika was super responsive to any communication. It's nice to stay somewhere that doesn't feel in the heart of touristy Sonoma and every stay should include booking pre reservations at Glen Ellen Star. Casual and super delicious.

Magical 2br/2ba cabins nestled in the redwoods

PearsonRating, 5 stars1 week ago
Stayed at Eoins place for the second time. When we made the reservations, we had no way of knowing there was going to be an atmospheric river hitting us. There was a flood warning for the night before our stay and we were slightly concerned because theres a small creek on the property as well. We voiced our concerns but our host assured us that the place had neen renovated to address that very issue and, to assuage our concerns, assessed the condition of the property in person before we arrived. We had nothing to be worried about. all 3 structures were thoughtfully designed to deal with rainy weather. The main yurt has a small bench area near the front door where one can remove their hiking boot and also wall hooks to hang heavy coats. We were super cozy and dry thanks to the efficient heater and cooking dinner was fun in their well-appointed kitchen with plenty of prep space. It was amazing to eat dinner watch the intense storm through the skylight. What a cool house!

Ojai Fish Camp at Rancho Grande

KelleyRating, 5 stars1 month ago
There are no words to fully capture this special ranch stay. It's pure and natural, private and magical. The 5 of us (in 2 yurts) felt at home by our hosts, both human and animal. This was a winter glamp, which I only recommend to those who have experience: while the tents and beds are comfy (propane heater) and there are many amenities and ease of cooking, you are keeper of the fire & braving the morning freeze to make your coffee (for those looking for glamping where you wake to a warm fire & hot cocoa, this is not for you.) We loved it though. Everything was clean and bed linens warm & fresh. I missed somewhere that the kitchen/lodge & bathrooms were unheated, but this was easy to forget once we gathered around the fire enjoying our home-made stew. Design is quirky. A real gem! Highlights: exploring the many acres, collecting fresh eggs for breakfast, freely visiting the animals. Albert the camel is a fascinating creature! It was hard to leave and We WILL be back. Thank you!
