My sister, brother and I had a magnificent stay at Jeannie and Skate's beautiful home. We wish we could have stayed longer! The bedrooms were cozy, bright, and clean, the parlor is the ideal gathering spot, and the outdoor space is completely magical. This home is imbued with creativity, art, and joy and we feel so lucky to have stayed in it. Will 100% be returning here on my next trip to San Francisco.

We had an amazing time here. We stayed with our 3 year old son and he had a great time playing with the toys provided and exploring the property. Staying in the caboose was a unique experience and one we would love to do again. Pat was very responsive to any of our questions and available for anything we needed during our stay. We would love to come back and stay someday.

Bjorn was extremely kind and helpful. The view was incredible! The beautiful hiking trails were a huge bonus. We absolutely loved it!

I had the very BEST stay at Mark's place! Everything about the stay was magical - the cottage was quaint and lovely, surrounded by redwoods. Mark's hospitality was of the very best I have seen...he was so kind, helpful and caring and lovely to talk with during the stay. He cares so much and wants to make sure his guests have the best experience. And wow the baked goods are incredible! This was the best mini retreat I could have imagined..I will definitely be back!

Kelly’s Cabin is a beautiful, peaceful retreat nestled near scenic hiking trails with stunning views of Tahquitz Peak. The cabin is thoughtfully and tastefully decorated with mid-century modern touches and warm, cozy details that make it feel both stylish and welcoming. It's clear that a lot of care and intention went into creating a space that fosters rest and rejuvenation. The host is incredibly responsive and attentive, which made the stay even more enjoyable. A truly special spot with great energy—highly recommend for a relaxing mountain getaway.

Loved returning to Skate and Jeannie's place after first visiting 9 years ago. The place was just as great as before though it was lovely to see the new additions to their arty garden, including the outdoor bathtub. I must also give a huge thanks for their above and beyond assistance in helping us to successfully track down some lost luggage.

Hope's place was a peaceful place to stay during our visit to San Diego. The room was clean and comfortable, from the bed, kitchenette, bathroom, and outdoor deck. The additional extras, such as snacks, coffee, breakfast items and fully equipped bathroom was appreciated. The home is located in a quiet neighborhood with easy access to stores and approx. 20-25 minutes to downtown San Diego. Communication was very good.

The space was so pretty and cozy that I felt great from the first day I arrived! Deborah was so kind and welcoming from start to finish. She also served fresh fruit, coffee, and bread every morning, which was delicious! I would love to come back next time I visit San Diego!

Susan and Rich made us feel like we were visiting our friends without being intrusive. They were engaging, informative, flexible and fun. We shared meals together when suited but ate separately when appropriate. We loved our stay here and can’t recommend it highly enough. The facilities were clean and beautifully presented. Breakfast was time flexible and there were plenty of choices including Susan’s own recipe of Granola that was yummy. The title of super-host is well deserved. We will be recommending Susan & Rich to any of our family / friends heading to the area. Thank you guys for your hospitality 🫶

We rented two rooms at this Airbnb and had a wonderful experience. The rooms were very nice, clean, and cozy — perfect for a comfortable stay. Breakfast was homemade and delicious, a lovely touch that made us feel right at home. The owner, Renee, was extremely welcoming, friendly, and attentive, which made our stay even more enjoyable. Highly recommend this place for anyone looking for a warm and relaxing stay!

Beautiful garden in a nice Berkeley home. Very quiet and clean room with good private bathroom. Great location with many locations including our favorite store Berkeley Bowl (which should be added to your recommended places) in easy driving distance. Comfortable bed and Rachel had welcome goodies waiting for us in our room’s refrigerator. She was very accommodating with our delayed flight and helped us inside after we lost our instructions. Snacks in the refrigerator helped us late at night when we arrived. Thank you for a wonderful stay.

Staying with Patree in her colorful oasis was super sweet. Her home is an ode to art, creativity and living an authentic life. Every room was super clean. Patree offered great sightseeing recommendations along with fresh baked bread and cookies! I would definitely stay again and again.

We really enjoyed staying at Kathy’s place, one of our most unforgettable experiences for our California trip. We really enjoyed the breakfast and snacks, the mattress, the yard which is a good stargazing spot at night.

Lovely home and family! Cara's place had everything I needed and then some. Beautiful and cozy room with direct access to the patio. Clear directions and expectations in the house. Great stay and highly recommend.

Can't say enough good things about this place. The house is impeccable and perfect for out needs. The amenities were above and beyond, from the sauna and cold plunge to the little things like the portable Sonos speaker and theragun. So many big and little details and nothing overlooked. The jacuzzi was hot and ready when we arrive, and we made a fire outside in the pit, under the stars with smores... I mean, what more can you ask for. Beds were super comfy as well. The only little I didnt like was the neighbors barking dogs every morning at 6am that woke me up a couple times. Next time Ill just bring some earplugs and there will be a next time! I cant wait to come back and book this gem again. 10/10

Perfect for my wife, daughter and I. VERY comfy master bed (adjustable). Quiet location. No full kitchen (as we knew) but had fresh muffins out for us and a well-stocked coffee bar which we appreciated. Will likely use again when visiting family in Merced.

This place is a dream come true. The hobbit holes are exactly as pictured, except maybe even more magical and super comfortable. I got in and was immediately so relaxed I fell right asleep on the big arm chair. It is a super safe, peaceful location, with parking right in front of the hobbit holes. The attention to detail of these special guest rooms are just astounding, and you can tell the host takes pride in his work. The breakfasts were unbelievable. We stayed three nights so we got three unique breakfasts delivered each morning. Delicious crepe-thin pancakes rolled up with brown sugar and melted butter, egg bakes with mushrooms and crispy bacon, and probably the best French toast I've ever had in my life. All served on a cute tray with delicious sides of fruit and cream. I was sad to leave, and already looking forward to the next time we get to visit this slice of Middle-earth here in California.

For a same day reservation, the listing was accommodating & peaceful for a long drive. The host was super communicative & proactive; he sent clear instructions both email & by text. Upon arrival, the place was warm & cozy. Extra sheets & towels were provided for my pets. I used the jacuzzi with the fireplace on - what a morning joy! A delicious breakfast was included, and the presentation was superb & was at a perfect time. The view of the place in the morning sun with the trees in the background was relaxing & calming. Definitely a must if you are visiting Shasta area!

We had a wonderful time at Ollie‘s place in Long Beach! The unit is absolutely charming, very well-maintained with beautiful arches and upgraded furniture. Very comfortable bedding and extremely spacious and bright. The location right by the ocean is unbeatable and the sound of the waves as you go to sleep was extremely relaxing. You can just hop out to take a stroll on the beach, which was incredible. Ollie is an amazing hostess, with exceptional communication, very accommodative, and served up the most delicious freshly made breakfast. We could not have been more thrilled with the incredible stay at Ollie’s for our girls getaway weekend!!

Bryan was a wonderful host. He responded quickly and efficiently. The cabin was great. Plenty of space for everyone. Quiet and comfortable. We loved the location.
