Monthly Rentals in Callow Hill

Great place! We stayed for a week over the Christmas holidays. They even asked if we wanted a Christmas tree! The shower was in the master bedroom which was fine for us as our adult children showered at night. The bathtub is in the common bathroom. They provided us with a thoughtful basket of wine, coffee grounds, cookies and minced tarts... and a jug of milk in the fridge and lots of tea and instant coffee in the kitchen which was very much appreciated. Good recommendations for the dinner which are close. A wonderful and peaceful location. We also appreciated dish washer, washing machine and drier and the extra tabs. Would definitely return if the 6 of us return to England. Thank-you from your Canadian friends!

We had a wonderful stay at the Bear’s Barn. Lesley was very helpful and responsive. The Barn was even better than the photos showed, absolutely spotless and super comfortable. Nothing had been forgotten and we couldn’t have asked for more. Lesley provided tea, coffee, milk, honey, eggs and freshly baked cakes, which was a very nice touch. We just wish we could have stayed longer than one night. Highly recommend.

Lovely room, just what you need when you are working away

Lovely clean, new accommodation and very tidy garden, as described and exactly as in photos. Very good kitchen. Everything I needed. Really comfy sofa and bed. Enclosed space for a medium to large dog and some extra space around the property for exercising dogs. Plenty of parking. Great farm shop/cafe (Hillers) and secure dog field just a few mins away. The only downside for me was the busy/noisy road, which I thought was more of a back road due to my lack of local knowledge. But the windows are well glazed so you can't really hear it once inside, and I imagine I noticed it more because where I live is super quiet. Rosie and family were very helpful and friendly, and I would happily book again if I needed to visit the area.
