Barn vacation rentals in Canal du Midi

Christine and her husband received me very kindly and they were at the apartment on time. The advantage I think was the private parking space for the car. From the apartment there are several public transport connections within minutes. Montpellier is definitely worth a trip. You can easily visit the city on foot. In 40 minutes you can walk to the city center.

Fantastic Airbnb - everything we hoped it would be. Very private retreat which has endless thoughtful touches. We met Jay and Bob, standing in for Gerry and Jenny, and they went above and beyond to make our stay as lovely as possible. Can't recommend this gem enough!

We only stayed one night, check in was easy and we enjoyed the view.

Very nice house for families or groups of friends and where everyone can have their own space! The terrace is lovely, as well as the sharing space. However, it is very hot in the rooms during the heat waves. A car is a must for activities.

Beautiful home in a quiet and soothing environment, in the middle of nature, with only close neighbors, pretty donkeys, adorable sheep. We were greeted with a smile, and very pleasant kindness. Our host was attentive and our arrival well prepared. The accommodation is very comfortable, clean, very well thought out. It's suitable for a large family as well as a large group of friends. The rooms are very spacious, the bedding very comfortable, and each room has its own bathroom. Everything is nicely decorated. We had a lovely evening in front of the chiminee. We also appreciated the ecological approach to managing the property We recommend the place to lovers of nature and calm.

We had a pleasant stay at Jeanne's cottage. We did not have the pleasure of meeting Jeanne in person but the communication was excellent, and Jeanne is a very responsive host. The cottage is comfortable and well-equipped.

We had a great time, the hosts are very welcoming and responsive! The cottage is quiet and ideal for a total change of scenery! We will come back!

Just perfect. 3 nights spent in an impeccable, well-equipped barn, in a peaceful and very pretty environment. We were with our 2 children aged 3 and 6 who loved sledding right next to the accommodation and hiking directly from the barn. This is a relaxing spot with a wonderful pool and a charming garden. We loved our stay here. It felt as though we had always come here to relax even though it was our very first visit !

A great stay at David and Pia's. The accommodation is spacious, nicely decorated and functional. The small terrace in the west surrounded by nature is a hell of a plus! Quiet and very "nature" environment The 3 dogs had a great time with our children (and vice versa!) and served as a wake-up call in the morning 😅🙄 Very nice touches upon arrival with vegetables from the garden.

I discovered this wonderful place with a group of friends over a weekend. We had a magical time there. Peaceful surroundings, splendid views, sunsets. Not to mention the place. It's amazing. The decor is tasteful, there is a general harmony and the equipment is suitable in every detail. I highly recommend it! Go there without a second thought to spend beautiful moments with family or friends.

The house is a haven of peace. It's a shame that the sun wasn't there to allow us to fully enjoy the outdoors that offers a beautiful life. The house is VERY well-equipped and very welcoming . The bedding is great and the sheets are beautiful. Everything is available: coffee, tea, soap, up to the washable makeup remover wipes. That's great! Hosts are responsive and welcoming. The bathroom is not a closed room, it is in the master bedroom, important to go with people with whom you feel comfortable and trusted☺️. See you very soon, Laetitia

We had a great time at F***y's home. The mill has been renovated with great taste: everything is modern, comfortable and perfectly functional. The interior is spacious, very clean, and perfectly equipped for a quiet stay. The real plus is the environment: the house is located on the edge of a small river, with a pretty waterfall right next door. It is a great setting to relax and enjoy nature. The area is beautiful, between vines, scrubland and typical villages. It's a perfect base from which to explore the surrounding area, including the City of Carcassonne, Cathar castles, or hiking trails. Fanny is a welcoming, discreet and responsive host. We highly recommend this place and will be back with pleasure!

A quiet break in the green. A well-equipped accommodation, the possibility of making fire is a real asset for the cocooning and quiet side. Everything was clean, in good condition Ludovic welcomed us very warmly: put the GPS on the address indicated and it's all good! We were able to visit the animals with him which was great for our daughter: the chickens opposite and the cows just further away. She was able to enjoy the garden with the wooden house and slide, crawling in the grass to stretch her legs morning and night. We were able to enjoy the Lauragais quietly at our own pace. Finally, we were able to bring a little piece of home with the preserves to our home! Thanks a lot for the stay, we will come back without hesitation!

The stay went perfectly. The views are breathtaking! The village and its surroundings are very pleasant to visit on foot or by hiking. The ski slopes (cross-country and downhill) are 15 minutes by car. The cottage is beautifully renovated respecting the "old stones" of the village. Thanks to France for her advice (walks, tours...) very useful.

Pleasant weekend, spacious and comfortable accommodation, ideal for a family stay.

The cabin is beautiful and cozy and the host is nice and helpful. It’s perfect for a family trip. Highly recommended!
