Vacation rentals with breakfast in Cape Breton Island

Lovely property. Gwen’s directions were spot on We wanted a property not far from our event. Gwen and Rocky’s place fit the bill. And it was cozy and inviting. Lots of character and warmly decorated. Great bedding and towels. Wonderful family style breakfast and conversation. My husband loved playing cards with the hosts.

We had a fantastic stay at Donny’s place! It is extremely comfortable and spacious. Wonderful amounts of light all day. It is so stocked with everything you could need. There is a very lovely walk down to the coast. Donny is a really great host and human being! He is extremely communicative and helpful! It was a delight staying at his place.

We enjoyed this beautiful stay in Dingwall. It’s a lovely bnb with a small balcony and a perfect sunset. Not far from some nice hikes and a store. Nice continental breakfast of yogurt and pastry left in the fridge for us. Love the beautiful linens and the beachy theme.

Gwen and Rocky were the best!! We felt right at home from the beginning. The room was quiet and clean, breakfast was amazing. We can't wait to come back!!

Jim was an excellent host, taking time to show us around some local sites, to give plenty of suggestions, and even to cook meals! He is very committed to ensuring guests have access to anything they need to relax and enjoy the area. He is right when he says that this isn't like other airbnb experiences-- it is for those looking for a unique way to experience Cape Breton.

We stayed two nights and appreciated the cleanliness of the room and property. The main house was lovely and KC the doodle was an excellent greeter. Very kind and welcoming hosts. They made delicious breakfasts (I especially enjoyed the tea options and scones).

We were welcomed in the middle of winter with a burning fireplace, cup of tea, and a comfortable bed. Shelley and Neil shared their spacious home and stories from out west with us that night and over a delicious breakfast the next day. Our stay was completed by watching their dog Daisy happily roam around the property. With the bad winter weather, Shelley was kindly accommodating, even offering to cancel our stay if we couldn’t make it in. We had an excellent stay with kind hosts and would recommend them to our friends and family!

We have stayed here many times. It has everything we need. Perfect location for us to be near our grandkids. We enjoy chatting with the friendly hosts. We'll be back for sure.

The inn is off the beaten path, on a lovely road, in gorgeous Baddeck. Our hosts were charming, funny, helpful, and they have a sweet doggy, Casey, who we loved to pet. The property is well-cared-for, clean, cozy, and has wide porches to relax on, a great common breakfast area. Breakfast was diverse and delicious. We only stayed one night but would love to return for a prolonged stay. 10/10!

Glen and Jan went over and above to make us feel at home. They were happy to accommodate my gluten free diet at breakfast, which was a fantastic 3 course affair each day! The large screened in deck was a wonderful spot to sit and enjoy the beauty of the place. Jan recommended and helped us get tickets to the local music night in town. We were treated like royalty from beginning to end. Glen and Jan felt like good friends by the time we left.

Felt right at home here. It was very peaceful. The beach was a short walk down the road and so was the town. The host also gave us some great recommendations for where we were headed. Very helpful!

We thoughorly enjoyed our stay here. It was like being back in time. This vintage hotel is sweet and very characteristic of the period . It was established in 1895. We would definitely recommend and stay again. Host, Carmen, was so accommodating and is attentive to all your needs.

Perfect location to stay if playing Cabot Links and Cliffs. Stones throw from the beach. Would recommend the Annex restaurant which is a couple minutes walk. Will be back for my next golf trip to Cabot!
