Vacation rentals with breakfast in Cape Breton Island

We had a fantastic stay at Donny’s place! It is extremely comfortable and spacious. Wonderful amounts of light all day. It is so stocked with everything you could need. There is a very lovely walk down to the coast. Donny is a really great host and human being! He is extremely communicative and helpful! It was a delight staying at his place.

Animal lovers Paradise with chicken dog and horses in a farm atmosphere well away from neighbouring properties but near to the beach and a restaurant that has entertainment. Breakfast was lovely and the hosts were very welcoming and accommodating.

Mary’s place was awesome! Clean, warm, and bucolic ! She is also the nicest person and most welcoming lady. She prepared breakfast for us and was really open to adapt her timing for us! Her property and garden, as well as the view on the mountain and sunrise are just exquisite! I recommend Mary’s place without a doubt! We had a lot of fun! :)

Niki's place is truly special. The location is peaceful, private & stunning with beautiful coastal views. It's a bit of a drive (especially after dark), but Niki's directions were great. The cottage is lovely and the bed was very comfortable. Niki made us a delicious breakfast before we were off to explore the Park. Highly recommended!

Terra Nova was the perfect retreat for 3 generations - me, my daughter and granddaughter. We found lots to do from walking the beach to exploring nearby attractions and just enjoying the gorgeous surroundings. Eleanor provided so many special touches. We immediately felt welcome. She was available for anything we needed or wanted to know. The Easter bunny even left some unexpected treats. It was very hard to leave. Such an idyllic Easter weekend.

We had a great stay at the Dusky Diamonds B&B! Our room was very comfortable, we appreciated the breakfast provided and the great views, and we enjoyed chatting with Cheryl in the morning and hearing her recommendations for things to do in the area.

We are very happy with our seven night stay there. The kitchen was well equipped, so we were able to prepare almost all of our meals. Eileen greeted us with homemade biscuits and some thoughtful fridge provisions sufficient to get our next morning off to a cozy start. She made an effort to help us access Wi-Fi in the town of Inverness, but it turned out the cottage had good cell reception so we could use phones as hotspots to get a little work done such that we could really vacation in confidence. We were delighted to see a pair of bald eagles on the shore of the property, well as loons and kingfishers and many other birds. Our stay was in mid September, and the weather was delicious, sunny, with a crisp bite to the air on our last couple of days. Congratulations to Eileen on creating a charming getaway, I wish we had stayed three or four more days.

Mostly everything was excellent about my stay at Christie's. (Christie is their surname, which a lot of commenters seem to confuse). The daughter and father are warm, welcoming and personable. Comfortable beds. Basic cable. Lovely dog, Dusty. Considering the price, great value. There is one caution that maybe is not warranted for everyone unless you are sensitive to smoke (like I am, in an extreme way). After getting there, I had to go back many comment pages to see if I was just crazy in my belief (since no one else was making this comment recently) but I found a few saying the same in 2024. If you are sensitive to residual cigarette smoke then know that this accommodation does have it. I'm not saying they're smoking in the house but it's definitely (at least) there from the past. I don't think my young daughter noticed it, so perhaps it's undetectable to those who are not sensitive. But I would have taken a pass had I known, since it messed with my palette and sinuses.

We enjoyed this beautiful stay in Dingwall. It’s a lovely bnb with a small balcony and a perfect sunset. Not far from some nice hikes and a store. Nice continental breakfast of yogurt and pastry left in the fridge for us. Love the beautiful linens and the beachy theme.
