Cabin #7 - "Waugoshance" A hybrid word, combining the Anishinaabemowin word wah'goosh (fox) and the French word anse (cove). This 2 bedroom, 528 sq ft cabin is named after a nearby peninsula off the northwest coast of Michigan's lower peninsula.
“The cottage is surprisingly spacious in person, and the view outside the window is gorgeous! We went on a cold stormy weekend so we spent most of the time inside with the fire warming us and and seeing the rain meet the lake outside the window. Outside patio thats super cute and a fire pit outside with room for your own grill! Wifi was shockingly fast, only downside was that I had to re check in with my fb account half way through my stay but thats very minor. A Nice size tv, a comfortable chair and a. futon were our best friends on the trip. Definitely will be coming back!”

The cabin is very close to The North Country Trail & The North Western State Biking & Snowmobiling Trail. Property includes full access to cabin, grill (with side stove burner), fire pit, and yard. Wood fired sauna onsite (Shared with other guests).
“This little cabin was super cozy, quiet, very private and the perfect little winter getaway spot. The wood fire sauna was an absolute delight! We used it four times in two days, and Luke stopped by to bring more wood before we even had to ask. As some other reviewers wrote, the clearance on the loft was pretty low, but certainly no deal breaker. We highly recommend this place and would certainly stay again! Thanks again Luke and Jack!”
Cozy 2 bedroom, second story apartment off the Straits of Mackinac, Features newly finished kitchen bedrooms and living room. Enjoy sitting on the deck with views of Lake Huron and Mackinac Bridge, beach access available at our home across the road. The apartment is furnished with 2 new queen beds and cable TV for your watching. The kitchen is well stocked to cook in, or enjoy a local restaurant nearby. We are located only a mile from downtown St. Ignace and the ferries to Mackinac Island.
“Very comfortable and stylish accommodations over a garage with great views of the water. Plenty of space for 2-4 people. Unfortunately, we were only there for one night - would have loved to stay longer. The beds are very comfortable and there are plenty of pillows and towels. Although we did not cook, there seemed to be everything needed to make meals. There is a cute balcony to watch the stars and sunset/sunrise from. A very peaceful and quiet location! I would recommend having your own vehicle - there are no ubers around and taxis are hard to come by too. If we do it again, we would definitely rent bikes. We like to walk so we had a nice walk to the Strait's Park and had a great view of the bridge. The nearest restaurants are 1.3+ miles away and there are not any convenience stores nearby, so make sure you have everything you need before settling in. We enjoyed the Village Inn for dinner. Close to the ferries if you want to check out Mackinaw Island - we were there for the last weekend of the season and saw everything shutting down. We did the Great Turtle Half Marathon - absolutely stunning and we were lucky to have great weather!”
