My private room is the perfect location for single travellers, friends or couples wishing to enjoy a rural & relaxing place to escape to on the Powys /Shropshire border.
“Although located near the street, it was quiet and i slept well. Big enough room with comfy bed. Had a good talk with Tony in his big kitchen in which you can chill and eat. The Bathroom is quite large and there are a lot of towels. Overall i enjoyed my stay”
Nestled in the mid wales countryside on our holiday park, this newly refurbished cosy one bedroom chalet offers comfortable accommodation for the couple wanting to get away from it all. Fishing is available on our private stretch of the River Tanat. Walks and cycling routes close by. Golf course within 4 miles. Local pubs, shops and restaurants within 1.5 miles. Ideal to use as a base to explore the local attractions.
“Lovely chalet in a great location, about 20 minutes away from attractions such as Powis Castle or Pistyll Rheadr. Check in was very easy, Cheryl messaged well in advance to ensure everything goes smoothly and communication was great. The place was immaculate, equipped with pretty much everything needed to feel at home (fully equipped kitchen including oven, pots, pans and all sorts of cooking utensils, iron, toiletries, clean towels plus some extra), plus a few thoughtful touches such as a few blankets, milk, tea and coffee and biscuits. The park is very peaceful and it has a small shop at the entrance which is very convenient. Can be used as a hub for exploring Wales, or you can enjoy the fabulous surroundings, go for walks alongside the river and enjoy the wildlife. It is difficult to put it into words how amazing the place is, both the chalet and the surroundings exceeded our expectations. Thank you Cheryl for a lovely stay, will definitely return!”
Charming one bedroom newly renovated farmhouse annex, with kitchen. Continental breakfast welcome pack included.
“A very lucky find. Gorgeous annex, stylish and has everything you need for a short break away. Thoughtful touches throughout and a very generous breakfast of yoghurts, orange juice, cereal, bagels and jams etc provided. Lovely welcome too. Fantastic views and isolated as you’d expect but a 10 min drive to Oswestry if you need to pick up some food.well equipped kitchen and comfy bed. Dog blanket provided which was helpful. Was very sorry it wasn’t a longer stay but we will definitely be back!”
