“We are a group of 10 from all over the world that like to travel together, 8 different nationalities. Our target was Tuscany this time, and luckily we found Ileria and her place in Quarazzana. Fantastic place with lots of opportunities for recreational activities, from mountain hiking, visiting the small old village, in the mountains or on the coast, beaching or foremost to relax and enjoy Italian wine and food. We were out of our Shanghai, Singapore, Amsterdam or Hamburg live, into an ancient and authentic 16th century village in Italy and we all loved it it. Getting either advice and recommendations from Ilaria on how to enjoy the surrounding or cooking classes from the Italian chef Leonardo, we now know how to make Italian Ravioli, but to keep everyone happy we had to make Chinese dumplings also. This is a place you need to put on your bucket list for sure.”
Apartment with stunning view over the valley, completely renovated, in charming medieval hamlet. 10 min driving from supermarkets, local restaurants and cafes, 1 hour driving from art cities and Cinque Terre. Ideal for couples and families.
“This tour is a terrific way to get acquainted with Chania. By the time the tour is done, you will have a pretty good feel for the layout of the old town, you will know a few spots that mostly only the locals know, and you will have a good foundational understanding of the history of Chania and the architecture of each of the historical periods. You also get a nice three course meal out of it, as well as recommendations from your guide about other great bars and restaurants to try. Because of all this, I would highly recommend that you book this tour for the first day you arrive in Chania, as it will provide you with so much information for the remainder of your stay in town. Finally, I want to specifically call out how terrific Manos (our guide) was. He was very personable and full of information, but also a very engaging guy that we really enjoyed talking to about not just Chania but many other things. He was a great host and a genuinely nice and interesting person.”
Located in the middle of Appenine's National Park, but strategically close to the seaside of Liguria, the Cinque Terre, the Gulf of the Poet (50 km.) and that of Versilia, Forte dei Marmi, Viareggio (60 km.) as well as the Tuscany cities of art, Firenze, Lucca, Pisa (an hour away from Pisa International Airport), Sara'Place is located in the centre of Comano, with mountain's view.
“This was my second time saying at Sara’s place and it did not disappoint! Her place is absolutely splendid! She thinks of EVERYTHING to make your stay stellar, from fresh milk in the fridge, to guidebooks, games and coloring supplies for kids, and even binoculars! I love, love, love staying here - it is probably my favorite AirBnB of all time. She is an amazing host. Thank you for everything!!! A la prossima!”
