The house is awesome, the garden and pool are exceptional, the view is amazing. You are in the calm and in a splendid natural setting to spend a relaxing holiday and recharge your batteries. I am super happy with the place, which has everything and is a great starting point to see the surroundings, as with the deal with the hosts. As soon as we tread Portugal we suffered a national assemblage (and in other countries) and the hosts welcomed me with all the hospitality, they offered me food since I came from Spain without preever an apagon… All in all, the hosts are the best part of this place, and the place is VERY QUIET and has absolutely everything. I have had many different accommodations but this is a real gem. Really nice location, view and house. A little difficult to find but the whole village probably knows what you are looking for, I did get some help from a nice lady. I should bot promote this too much as it might be booked when I come back.

If you are looking for a little slice of heaven then this is it! Quiet, peaceful, surrounded by beautiful nature. Daniel was the best host and was responsive to all our needs and questions. The tiny cottage is so quaint. I wish we could have stayed longer. Will definitely recommend!

Maria José is the host that we all want to have. He was concerned to guide us to the house, described it reliably and still left us a welcome gift. The house is very beautiful and is right in front of the river. From all the windows we have a beautiful view. In addition, it is very well equipped and we have all that is needed for a good stay. Near the river beach, the shale villages and nearby beautiful landscapes and leisure structures and the hospitality of our hostess made our weekend wonderful. Thank you for everything!

Nice and relaxing place, would recommend mostly for summer to enjoy the pool and the big garden as the insides are a bit smaller than we thought. One thing to consider is there is no real oven there (electric one) so gaz and bbq mostly if you have good weather ! Frederik has been very helpful on the way and Lili is really a warm lady !

We had a wonderful experience at Vumba. Since the time of our arrival, we have been greeted with great hospitality and welcomed into a house in perfect condition. Unspeakable. The decor of the house deserves special highlight, made with extreme good taste, creating a very welcoming atmosphere. We make the most of the tranquility of the countryside and all the amenities offered. The pool space was one of our favorite places to relax. However, one suggestion would be the installation of stairs to facilitate the entrance and exit of the pool, as well as an outdoor shower, which is usually customary in environments like this. It is important to mention that because we are in the countryside, it is natural to find some mosquitoes which in no way diminished the quality of our stay. We recommend, however, that you come prepared for this. It was an excellent experience, a little piece of rural paradise. And get breakfast, it's worth it!!!

Beautiful!!! Very nice traditional house with pool, ping pong table, babyfoot, bikes…. A little piece of heaven! A little far from all tourist attractions, but there are all the useful shops in Tabua. For a nice family holiday, I would highly recommend it. Thanks to Melanie for all the useful instructions as soon as we arrive!

Adri and Petra are wonderful hosts. They greeted us personally, provided great information and were very generous and kind. We wish we could have stayed longer, as their place is beautiful. We were surrounded by nature, right in the middle of stunning mountains and hills. It was tranquil and peaceful and great for taking long dog walks or hikes. Highly recommended. We will definitely be back.

Casa do Trovador exceeded expectations. We already expected a spacious house with several highlights. But on arrival, we found that the pictures do not do justice in sight and the location. With several leisure spaces, even with less favourable time, it was a very pleasant stay. Communication was impeccable at all times. I highly recommend it for groups and families who want to spend time together where there is no lack of space!

This was one of the best Airbnb experiences. The place is amazing with stunning views and the air filled with the scent of orange blossoms and eucalyptus trees. Joao’s house is super clean, nicely decorated and very well equipped. We had everything we needed. João was a great host. Helpful, nice and responsive. I’d definitely recommend this place to everyone who admires the nature, peace and quiet. I’d love to come back one day.
