Hidden Northfield Cottage

A private, peaceful space 2 blocks from St. Olaf College and less than 1 mile from downtown and Carleton College. Our location is convenient, cozy and unique being an old ginseng farm, the duplex has a rural feel and is tucked away from the street. Enjoy a patio space to grill at while soaking in the outdoors. We have a fully equipped kitchen, but the Ole Store, a Northfield favorite, is just down the block. Dogs are allowed when added on the reservation and pet fee has been paid for.

Earle Lake across the street has a beautiful walking/bike path that everyone can enjoy. 2.1 miles away from Buck Hill. Buck Hill has an awesome tubing hill for kids. This home is centrally located-20 minutes away from downtown/US Bank Stadium, only 18 minutes from MSP airport and Mall of America.

The house is cool, well shaded with big trees and flooded with mottled light. A big magical backyard with two huge pines makes it feel like the North Woods. It is peaceful & serene with a big private yard and organic miro garden. In spite of some older pics there is new central air not window units. This is a very clean artists house not a hotel. This is an old but beautiful house, full of love. Please be loving and respectful. Thank you!
