This is a rare opportunity to stay in a traditional Miller's House located on the same property as an authentic 1632 Dutch Windmill. This beautiful cabin offers privacy, nature and canals on both sides, yet is only 1.5 miles (2.4km) from town and a 40 minute train ride to Amsterdam. This cabin was hand built with love & care and it is a pleasure to share it with guests from all around the world. As the Miller of this windmill, I enjoy giving my guests a complimentary tour whenever possible.

House of 100 years old is located under the mill and is cozy and comfortable. A five-minute walk and you are in the center of Alkmaar. Rent a boat and see Alkmaar from the water. In the street behind the cottage is a nice, large playground, the "OKB". The bus stops in front of the door. Paid parking in the area and opposite the house. Free parking within walking distance. Center: a 5-minute walk Beach: 30 minutes by bike/15 minutes by car Two bicycles for use at the cottage.

Independent B&B on our houseboat with your own entrance. We are located on a sunny and quiet canal in the heart of Amsterdam, close to Centraal Station, Anne Frank House, The Jordaan and the Canals. Your space is totally private with your own bathroom, bedroom, captain's room and wheel house. The space is centrally heated and double glazed for chilly days. You also have access to outside space on our pier where you can relax into the evening on warm summer nights.

The upper floor/sleeping area has no stair gate and we recommend not letting small children stay here.

(max 4 persons) ideal for families. Also there is a kitchenette with everything to prepare an easy meal or breakfast.

Walking distance to the cheese market, shops, restaurants, bars and monuments but the courtyard feels peaceful and secluded. Good base to explore Amsterdam, tullip fields, old villages, dunes and the nearby beaches! The house was lovingly renovated with a new kitchen, a modern bathroom, and antique details for a luxurious yet charming feel.

In the winter it can be too cold to sit there only with the fireplace. Bathroom has a 2-person bath and a double shower. The bathroom also has a washing machine and dryer. Het Span is wonderful! You look over the fields to the dunes and the mill. You have a private parking space and a private garden. We have done everything possible to keep the sunset view as much as possible. The apartment can accommodate four people, and we like it if you come with children. They will love sleeping in the bed and playing in the playhouse.
