The house is full of authentic French character - Antique furniture, inglenook fireplaces and floor-to-ceiling wine barrels in the bar (unfortunately empty!) all add to the unique charm of Au Balenti.

Aou Roques gite is located on the edge of a small village surrounded by farmland and with distant views of the Pyrenees. The small town of Plaisance is just five minutes by car with an two supermarkets, weekly street market and a range of shops, entertainment and amenities. The wine growing regions of Madiran and Saint Mont are a short distance away and the Pyrenees can be reached in just over an hour. The area is great for cycling and walking and renowned for its many festivals in summer.

Our gite is in a small village it’s 5 kms from the town of Plaisance. And 15 kms from Marciac and the largest European Jazz festival.

Large renovated Maison de Maitre, located in Plaisance opposite the Boulangerie. The house is fully renovated, with 4 large bedrooms all with ensuite bathrooms and there is a 5th Bedroom /Library with a Double Sofa Bed. The White Bedroom has a Kingsized Bed & a Single Sofa Bed. There is a grand salon with seating for 12 and a large dining table with seating for 12, a kitchen breakfast room, a Library/Bedroom 5 and cloakroom.

Vous pourrez profiter de sa fonctionnalité avec sa cuisine équipée ( frigo, gazinière , lave vaisselles, four, cafetière senseo , micro onde), salle d’eau. Pour amoureux des animaux nous avons un petit élevage familial de perroquets que nous vous montrerons avec plaisir si vous le souhaitez. Nous élevons également des bergers australiens.
