Monthly Rentals in Chalgrove

This stay was 10/10 — the sunny weather amplified the beautiful garden view you get from the room/porch area. The amenities were spotless and the room was the perfect size. We loved our stay. Nicola is an amazing host - very helpful, accommodating, and gave some great recommendations for us. Definitely recommend if you’re looking for a serene and private place with pretty much everything you need in the room, and about a 15-min drive from anything you don’t have. Would absolutely stay again - couldn’t have asked for a better experience!

A perfect cosy bolthole to get away from it all, in an idyllic peaceful countryside setting close to the Chilterns, (Midsomer Country) and the vibrant city of Oxford (highly recommend the guided Oxford Walking Tour - taking in the colleges, the Bodleian library and many locations for Morse & Harry Potter!)

We had a lovely long weekend at The Hayloft. The rooms are much bigger than the photos show, plenty of room for both ourselves and our German Shepherd. The kitchen and bathrooms were fully stocked with everything you need (tea/coffee/bread/eggs/shampoo/conditioner etc) which was such a nice touch. Highly recommend taking some of the walks, we did the Six Bells 6 mile round trip and finished with lunch there which was really good also. It would be nice to have a fully enclosed courtyard to let the dog off as ours is a bit fussy about going to the bathroom on the lead but we made do and it didnt make any negative impact on our stay! Overall a fantastic place to stay in a beautiful area - couldn't recommend more :)
